Chapter 1: The Hurricane

"SARAH!" You call to your sister "What are you doing?! You're gonna get hurt" you say as she walks on the ledge right above the water. "Don't worry Liv I'll be fine." She says. You roll your eyes and turn around. "Girls come inside there is a hurricane coming!" Rose shouts from the doorway. You and Sarah run inside. The first thing you think to do is call JJ. He's your older brother but he's a Pogue you guys share the same mom but a different dad you only recently found out about this but you don't think JJ knows yet.
"Hey JJ." You say over the phone.
"Oh hey Olivia what's up?" He replies
"I just want to make sure you're safe from the hurricane I hear it's gonna be a nasty one."
"Oh yeaaa you know how it is I'm gonna be staying at the chateau and hunker down." He says very sarcastically.
"JJ don't you fucking dare think about surfing the surge that's way too dangerous!" You say in a very stern voice.
"Olivia don't worry it won't be my first time and I'll be fine." He replies.
You hear John B calling in the background for JJ. He says "Yo Jayj grab your board this is gonna be the best one yet!" You just smack your forehead and roll your eyes he hangs up before you get the chance to say anything.

BOOM! CLAP!
The thunder roars outside and you can see the water it's going crazy you hope and pray that JJ is ok and is being safe. You and Sarah just spend time inside playing games and having fun. You guys are finishing each other's sentences and playing twin telepathy games because Wheezie loves to test that. "Wheezie cmon we do this every time when are you gonna accept the fact that we do know what each other is thinking I mean we're identical twins we came from the same people born only minutes apart. " Sarah exclaims. "And I'm the older one!"
You hate when she does that even though it's 2 minutes earlier she always has to brag about being the older one even though she sure doesn't act like it. Eventually it gets super dark and the power goes out "DAD!" You all scream. Ward comes in
"What's up?" He asks.
"When is the generator gonna kick in?" Sarah asks.
"Unfortunately that was the generator the power is gone. It's getting late anyways how about you all go to bed and hopefully it will be back on by the morning." Ward says.
"Ok" you all reply. You and Sarah go running up to your shared room. You guys love sharing a room and sharing literally everything with each other and gossiping to each other and telling secrets to each other. You guys get ready for bed and get underneath the covers you say goodnight to each other and drift off to sleep.
