Chapter 3 The Incident

It's the day after the hurricane there is damage everywhere. Olivia is on a ledge trying to get to the boat "Liv babe be careful there's a live wire near you!" You turn back to see who it is it's your boyfriend Topper. "Top don't worry I'll be careful I'm an athlete." You say with so much confidence. As you're walking you see the wire he was talking about. "Hey Sarah!" You say as she is trying to get the birds away from the mice for some weird reason. Your dad is trying to get her away from the birds and come help him but she's not budging. As you're talking to her you keep walking on the edge. You realize how close you are to the wire and your heart starts to race it's like it's surrounding you and getting closer and closer. "TOPPER H-H-HELP!" You say you're having a lot of trouble breathing since you're so scared. He doesn't hear you. You feel like you're gonna pass out and without realizing it you touch the wire. You feel this energy course through your body and then everything goes black.

"OLIVIA!!" Topper screams as he sees you shaking uncontrollably. "WARD, SARAH HELP!" He says his voice shakes and with terror. Sarah and Ward run over to you only to see you convulsing extremely aggressively they realize that you touched the wire. "Topper grab her." Ward says very sternly. Topper grabs you in his arms and takes you to the car. "SARAH LETS GO!" Ward screams to Sarah.
"IM COMING DAD!" She screams back as she's running to the car. You're completely passed out in Toppers arms only having little jerks of movement here and there. You guys get to the hospital. "HELP ITS MY DAUGHTER" Ward screams as they run into the emergency room.
"What happened?" A nurse asks
"She touched a wire and then all of a sudden just started convulsing." Topper says in a sorrow way. He feels so bad that he wasn't there for you and he's trying not to break down. Everyone in there is trying not to break down.

They take you back and get your vitals you're on the verge of a cardiac arrest. Your heart is working too hard and it's about to give out. "We have to put her in a medically induced coma to give her body some rest if she has any chance of living." The doctor exclaims to the people in the trauma room. They do just that and about 30 minutes later they come out and talk to your family.

"Family of Olivia Cameron." The doctor states.
"Here over here" Ward says. The doctor starts explaining what happened. "Unfortunately your daughter's body was working too hard. We had to put her into a medically induced coma until further notice. We don't know how long it will last we just need to wait and see when and if she wakes up."
"What do you mean IF she wakes up?" Sarah asks.
"Your sister suffered some pretty significant damage it's a miracle she's still even alive right now. You guys can go see her but I have to warn you it may be hard to look at." They all follow the doctor to your room when they walk in Sarah starts breaking down, Topper is trying to not cry, and Ward is starting to cry. They all stay beside your bed until Topper and Sarah have to go home and Ward has to stay with you.
