Chapter 23: Secret Supporting

It was 5 am when Jisung woke up. He yawns and attempts to sit up from where he is, only to realize he can't. He realized why and laughed, recalling last night. His laughter woke up the members except Yeong-ho as they realized why. "Next time, let's make a pillow fort just so we can be comfy," Moon spoke gruffly, "also don't we have to go support Enchant's mv filming?" At those words, Yeong-ho woke and said quietly, "of course we do. Let's get ready, someone starts breakfast." Everyone got up and was ready within an hour, eating breakfast before heading down to the filming location.

Jisung smiled as he snuck up behind the duo, who were watching the filming, checking on their performance before he screamed, "HYUNGS!!"

Shouts of surprise and swearing were heard as Darkside burst into laughter. Xion and Jongho, once they calm down, tickle Jisung as he lets out giggles, telling them to stop. They eventually had to stop as the stylist came to get them for the outfit change. Jisung and the others waited until the two came out and Xion spoke about finishing their solo songs and the epic genre. "We are currently doing the songs Dino had produced for us, he gave us the song Enough of Love. It's about someone who had enough of being in love because of unrequited love. Or like messy breakups and anything where your love ended and it hurts so bad that you have quietly changed in small increments until you become someone you and others don't recognize." The group listen to the explanation, intrigued as to how the song will be like. So Jongho played the song and as the members listened to it, Kage mouth a whoa as the song got intense with the rapping and emotions.

The song finished, but Darkside went silent as they processed the lyrics and felt before Peace spoke with amazement. "That is the most painful and transformative song. Like how can Dino hyung create a song about someone being done with love and changing? The emotions were so strong that it hurt and sad while you can imagine the anger." The duo nods as Jongho answers, "I'm not sure. Maybe from experiences or a thought of an idea but it is the pain of being heartbroken that it causes a change in mindset and appearance. This song fits well with the concept of being about a person's crush heartbreak to heartbreaker. I know that there are great love songs and such. However, imagine being heartbroken and not only did you glow up but also decided to not fall in love again and become like a player of some sort."

Darkside could not help but imagine the pain of someone going through that and they can't help but agree that it is something anyone has gone through. "Jongho hyung," Morris speak with wonder, "do you think you could make another album or something similar with this concept except from the opposite point of view?" That got Enchant thinking, looking at each other before turning back to the younger as Xion responded, "I think that is possible. If me and Jongho work together again in the future that will be the plan. I already imagine the person thinking it is all fun and games. However, they witness that person changing and then later regret what they have done to the person."

The director called the duo back to the set and Darkside watched Enchant film the scene. "Wow," Harry-June said, eyes not moving, "this is definitely going to be different from when they were in their groups." The others nodded before Aries brought up his thoughts, "you know, I'm very curious. What will the other Ateez and Oneus members' reaction be to their maknae debuting together? I did see both groups being a bit envious of the interaction yesterday." Silence enveloped the group as they began to think about the possible reaction before Yubin replied, "they are for sure going to be shocked but I think they might have also theorized it. But they might get jealous or amazed because of the vocals and rapping they are going to hear." The rest nods as Enchant finishes the scene, and heads over to the group.

Suddenly, "Enchant, Darkside!! We have arrived!!" They turn to see Eric, Dino, and Haknyeon entering the venue and the group greets them as they speak about the food truck and go to get food. Jisung went up to Dino and asked, "when are you starting on the filming for your full album? Because Seventeen or the others might start their quickly." Dino smile at the concern before answering with a glint in his eyes, "I will be filming it tonight, I will be doing the intro and prologue song as it will require less constume change and venue change. Jisung, you and Chanwoo will be with me in two days to start on our feature songs." Jisung nodded before typing a reminder on his before the group got back and they ate while also discussing the songs and what the plans were to get things done before their group started the comeback.

"So Enchant," Haknyeon starts, "that means you will be done with your album by like the middle of this week?" The duo nodded at the question before Jongho added, "afterwards it is promotion time, get everything ready and we might think about doing a showcase." The other agreed to the plan as Dino and Darkside thought about it. "I think Darkside and I will be doing the same thing." Dino said with a pondering look, "however, we need to change our hairstyle or put on a wig and also change our voices." Then he, Jisung, Harry-June, and Yubin bonk their heads lightly against one another as they are stressed about the change. The three Darkside members have already switched their voices, singing, and speaking for their MVs. But Dino will have to switch his coming up. "I felt bad for the four of you, " Eric grimaced at the plan, "it is not easy but I believed in you. Make sure to practice and test your switched voices for the upcoming plans. And make sure to drink and rest your voice because you are going to need it for the plans." The fours nod and thank him before Enchant heads back to the filming set and the others watch with support.

Four hours later, Enchant finished filming their second-to-last MV before they all headed back to their places. Darkside went inside their dorm and began to help the three members practice their switched voices. It was a bit crazy as they knew that they would have to continue using that style and switch it between two groups, but Darkside understood that hard work would pay off.

At 8pm they read as the group decided to finish it and they ate while talking excitedly about Enchant's filming and Dino's MV plan.

2 days later, Jisung got up at 4am, he listened to some music while stretching before heading to the kitchen. The smell of food intrigue him and he look to see Hua Li up and cook something. "Its spam fried rice, " Hua Li spoke, "I wanted to make something quick, and got up earlier." The older smile and thank the younger as he eats his breakfast. Later he went to grab his things and headed down to the first floor to see Dino and Chanwoo in the van with Ji-Yeong.

"Let's go," Chanwoo spoke, "the location is about 30 minutes away and the next is another hour. So, you stuck with us."

Jisung laughed before speaking, his eyes brightening. "No biggie, I missed our hangouts. It has been a couple of months since our last hangouts. The past hangouts are for Darkside's plans."

Dino smiled and added, "we and Darkside should soon hang out after we finish our missions."

The trio conversed and the manager joined in as they headed to the location. It was nice as they saw the peak of the sun slowly rising. They arrived at the location and get straight away to filming. It was exciting, getting to collaborate with the hyungs for the first time and it was fun. He was experiencing and seeing the hyungs' work ethics.

It was midnight when Jisung finally came back. He yawn as he type the numbers and waddle to the kitchen to grab water.

Suddenly he felt someone pulling him into an embrace. He made a noise of confusion, before he sniffed the person's shirt, recognizing it was Jeno.

"Hey," Jeno starts softly, "let me help. It must have been a long day, has it?" Jisung nods and yawns.

The 2000 liner laughed before guiding the maknae and helping him with his routine before setting him on his bed. He watches the younger sleep and smiles fondly before going to sleep.
