"Wait are you from earth?" Marie was questioned, struggling to calm herself for the unexpected encounter with an infuriated male student.

{8 minutes ago}
'Sigh. I get that Holfort Academy has a large institute but still...' Marie could feel her legs a bit sore from starting at the dismissed classroom to the entrance of the garden.

The white haired reincarnator had to ask for directions since she was a freshman student, the same thing she did to find the library, and the action lead to her finding the spot instantly.

The fountain where it begins the mark of Olivia's journey and her meeting many other characters, starting with that pathetic prince.

Speaking of the royal highness, he stands close to the fountain as if to meet him, trigger the heroine journey, and claim his attention alongside his lovestruck self.

'Yeah, still not happening.' I sweated as I crouched, hiding behind a statue and looking from afar. Patientlfor Olivia to do the deed. Where is she anyway?

"Um what are you doing here, Marie?"
The girl flinched as she whipped her head to see a blonde girl with a curious look. It was Olivia.

This immediately jolted her mind to process her thoughts on the overall sudden stress issue.

...
Inside the mental space of Marie, it appeared as a business meeting room with multiple other versions of herself sat in a U shaped table and a total of 11 seats, 5 of which are occupied, the rest were vacant.

"What do we do!?" A Marie with glasses screamed, slamming both hands on the table.

This was Scared Marie (ScM), "We're going to foil the script of the starting act! We need to fix this pronto!" She demands. It was evident in her voice and name designation that she was afraid.

"I agree. The worst that may come in interfering with important scenes such as this moment could jeopardize the script of this act." Besides ScM, sat down with Negative Marie (NegM), resting her face with her right hand. Her eyes are gleaming with sorrow. She continued.

"Plus breaking the rule we've established and started to follow upon starting our school life for uncertainty leaves a bad taste if you ask me."

"But we weren't asking though." Another version quips on the opposite side of the table and turns her head "Wouldn't it be better if we just... Y'know, not follow the script... a bit"

"Elaborate." All the Maries comments

The version Innocent Marie gave her more detailed suggestion causing the rest of the Maries, present in the session, to agree. Negative wails her opposition but before she could explain.

"Um, are you ok?" They turned to a screen that showed Olivia in real-time with a concerned look.

"Screw it Innocent wins." Negative yields, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration and grumbling. She desires that nothing bad happen but she doubts that. It's a part of her. Innocent pulls out a big red button and slams it.

...
Back to reality, the conversation inside the reincarnator's mind concluded as the action plays out.

"Yeah... Just ended up wondering why that guy is over there standing alone." I pointed causing her to look at his appearance.

"Do you think he's lost?" Olivia added. I mulled that it won't be the case and the heroine thought the same.

'There's no way but then again it could happen.' The reincarnation starts to imagine it before shifting her thoughts.

"Wanna find out?" I asked Olivia, who tilted her head, probably not understanding my words. I said in two words, "Ask him."

"Oh? Oh!" Olivia seems to get the meaning now. She nodded at me and headed to the prince. In this way, I aid her to the destined event while I evade breaking a rule.

I sighed in relief, "That was close..." The event that starts it all never happening is one I could not dare create as the world most certainly depends on it. I'll talk to Olivia later and apologize for leaving by treating her to food. But how would I do that when I could barely afford it for myself?

I pondered a bit, "I should probably figure out how to earn more!" My palm slipped from its clasp on the stone surface of the statue podium.

Before I fell and prepared for the moment of the incoming impact. "That was close." It never occurred. A male voice close to me whispered while covering my mouth. I could barely turn to look at him, his whole body, only to see his face when he tilted my face upwards.

His eyes and hair were black. His face looks generically average. But for some reason, my actress instincts are telling me he isn't.

"Now I'm guessing that something annoying was about to occur."

The male individual mumbled quietly, but I heard. Would you dare say that again, Mr. Average, because you are ticking me off a bit? The male seemed to pause a bit before looking into my eyes as if he realized something.

Wait!, "Wait, are you from Earth?" He questioned, earning him a look of surprise from me that's for certain.

My eyes widened to understand the phrase that made me curse as I responded with my reflexive reaction.

I nodded at him and said in affirmation but my mouth was covered. This made my mysterious fellow here free me of his hand. A welcomed move it was. Now time to explain before the slap is fired.

"Thank you for doing that and yes I am from Earth. So if you'll excuse me I have a..."

*Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!*

Marie closed her eyes before breathing in and out "...slap to witness." The different eye colour girl uttered as she looked to see Olivia's action's aftermath with Julius face looking at his right. The boy with her, Leon Fou Bartfort, was perplexed at her answer.

"Wait, what?"

"Yeah I wanted to see that crap prince getting the well deserved smack for the amount of pain in the ass he was." Marie explained as she recollected her memories from her previous life and analysed Julius's character.

"Ah was it because of act 3?"

Leon asked as the girl caught his attention and interest for hearing her reasoning.

"Partially... I remembered trying to finish the middle section of act 5 and my Julius' mech took along while to level up to fulfill the scenario cutscene requirement of all things. I mean [Tier 4 Aether Cores] were hard to obtain in old dungeons. Took about two weeks to get everything prepped."

"Ah that's nostalgic to hear." Leon remarked sarcastically to earn him a snort from Marie. The reincarnated girl saw Olivia running past Julius and headed towards them.

"Well let's talk more later because I need to help the heroine calm down." She says as the blonde female protagonist runs past them as she follows in pursuit.

Leon just stares at the sight before leaving with Luxion, who teases him.
