To Julia, MK was.. wait- what was MK? Well, she's sarcastic, cold-hearted, a kleptomaniac, but that's what normal people see her as.. how does Julia see her?

Present time: 7/23/25

MK walked into the living room where Julia was situated, Julia scrolling on her phone per usual. MK sat near her, but not too close so she wouldn't get the idea, even though she already has.

MK pulled out a notebook that on the front said, "Journal: Mary-Kate's life" that she had since she was a kid. Sure, the name was a bit.. odd, but it was her mother's idea.

MK tapped her pencil onto the freshly new page she just opened. She needed to just write, so why was it so hard for her to do so? She glanced around the room, eventually landing on Julia's amethyst eyes. Well, guess she could write about her, wouldn't be so hard.

Journal Entry #21: The manipulation she pulled on me.

"When we decided to keep in contact after season two, we found out that we lived about 20-30 minutes away from each other. That was amazing news for her but not so much for me. If I ever burn this, I hope this page gets the most damage.

Whenever I look at her, she looks so majestic and beautiful, it's almost unreal. My heart longs for her, but my brain thinks otherwise.. we just aren't meant to be. She's the complete opposite. Sure, opposites attract, but realistically between me and her? Yeah.. not gonna happen, MK.

God I fucking love her smile, the way she looks at me, her-"

"Hey MK? I got a question." Julia spoke with a almost mysterious tone, almost like she was gonna ask MK some very.. interesting questions.

"Yeah, what do ya need?"

"Can I read that page after you're done writing in it?" Julia had no idea that stuff MK wrote was about her, but MK wasn't gonna tell Julia obviously.

"I- maybe later you can, but I'll see." MK was panicking. How was she gonna show her all the shit she wrote and say it's about someone else? It literally says her and MK always told Julia that she was an ally and that's it. Mainly, it was just to avoid the question, "Do you like me?" Because MK obviously did, but she's bad at lying about her romantic feelings, so that was the second best option.

"Alright, well I'll be calling Emma in my room, so tell me when you're done with it."

"Yup, totally will."

Just like that, Julia was gone and MK was left with her romantic thoughts. Great. I'll just make a new one and pretend that the new one is the one I wrote before. This'll surely go well. MK sighed before looking at all the shit she wrote about Julia. She just erased it, looking at all the words she used to describe her before erasing it off the paper completely.

"Time to start over from scratch."
