One of Barrel's scorpions had died last night. (Obv Lock and Barrel were in Barrel's room when Barrel noticed.) Lock had been gone all night to catch a new scorpion, which is what he usually did when one of Barrel's had died. He was obviously really down about it. Sometime early in the morning, Lock climbs in through Barrel's bedroom window, holding something in his right hand. Barrel hears Lock climb in and looks over at him.
Barrel: "There you are! Where ya been all night?"
Lock opens his hand to reveal a small scorpion.
Lock: "New Pandora."
Barrel looks at the small scorpion.
Barrel: "You got me a new scorpion?-"
Lock nods and holds the scorpion out to Barrel.
Barrel: "You didn't have to-"
Barrel carefully takes the small scorpion from Lock.
Lock: "I wanted to-"
Barrel smiles and carefully puts the small scorpion with the others.
Barrel: "Well, thank you either way"
Lock: "Of course!"
Lock smiles happily and Barrel grabs him and pulls him onto the bed.
Lock: "Hey-"
Barrel smirks and kisses Lock and pulls away. Lock is shocked but yanks Barrel down into another kiss. Barrel is shocked but kisses Lock back. They kiss for a few more minutes before Barrel pulls away and chuckles. Lock blushes more and looks away.
Barrel: "So --- video games and snuggles?"
Lock nods. Barrel smiles and takes his controller from his nightstand and turns the TV on and lays down on the bed. Lock crawls over and lays his head on Barrel's laps and curls up some. Barrel smiles more and plays with Lock's hair a bit as he picks a game to play. He decided to play GTA5. While playing GTA, Lock's tail wraps around his right forearm. Barrel chuckles softly and keeps playing, every now and then gently rubbing Lock's head.
Lock ends up falling asleep and Barrel turns his game off and puts the controller back. Carefully moving Lock so he's resting and left side, Lock's tail still wrapped around Barrel's forearm and he doesn't mind it. Barrel smiles at how calm and peaceful Lock looks in his sleep and kisses Lock on the forehead. Gently playing with Lock's hair before ending up dozing off to sleep. They sleep for a while snuggled into each other.
