The next few days leading up to the Sekai Taikai were filled with full days of training. Kwon and Jules spent their time training with Sensei Kim and Sensei Kreese, while Yoon continued training the other students.

After all, the tournament is all about the captains as the holder of the tournament explained in the video that got sent to every dojo participating.

Over the course of the days spent training, Kwon and Jules got closer each day. They had realized friendship and teamwork was the most crucial part as being captain. You couldn't be captains and hate each other━ it just didn't work.

Kwon and Jules stood side by side as Sensei Kim gave them orders to follow.

"Jab punch!" She spoke, her voice loud and clear.

The two did as they were instructed and followed through the jab punch.

Kim sighed, satisfied. "Excellent." She then turned to Sensei Kreese, giving him a nod signaling it was his turn to take over.

Kreese cleared his throat. "Now, I want you two to spar━ get to know each other's moves." He explained as Kwon and Jules looked to each other with a challenging look on their face.

The two nodded and made their way to the mat as the Sensei's followed behind.

"Positions!" Kreese shouted, Kwon and Jules getting into their fighting positions. "Fight!"

Jules charged first, throwing a butterfly kick to try and throw Kwon off guard so she could land a point on his stomach. But Kwon knew her too well and was one step ahead. After Jules landed and tried to kick at his stomach, Kwon blocked her attempt by catching her leg and then elbowing her knee.

As the girl backed off back to her spot on the mat, Kwon looked at her with a smirk. "That's all you got?" He challenged.

Kwon wasted no time charging at Jules with a 360 kick and more little power kicks at her side. However, Jules' defense was on point. Every hit Kwon tried to land, she blocked with ease.

This made Kwon frustrated. As Jules was busy throwing jab punches at Kwon, the boy took this opportunity to spin on his heel and kick the girl in the stomach━ earning him a point.

"Point, Kwon!" Kreese shouted from the sidelines.

Jules tilted her head, "Pretty good catching me off guard there." Kwon was about to thank her, but she wasted no time charging at the boy with a spin kick.
