The silence in the office was deafening as the bold confession hung in the air.

"I love you!" Wonyoung blurted, her voice trembling but loud enough to echo through the room.

Y/N’s eyes widened in shock, and her pen slipped from her fingers. She turned to look at Taehyung, whose face remained a cold, unreadable mask.

Taehyung leaned back in his chair, his jaw tightening. Then, with a voice sharp enough to cut glass, he snapped, "GET. OUT."

Wonyoung flinched visibly, her confidence faltering under his icy glare. "B-But, sir—"

"I SAID GET OUT!" His voice boomed, reverberating off the walls. Y/N jumped in her seat, heart racing as she watched the scene unfold.

Wonyoung's eyes brimmed with tears. "I-I’m sorry, sir," she stammered, bowing her head.

Taehyung stood abruptly, the scrape of his chair against the floor making her flinch even more. He leaned forward, his tone low and threatening, "Don’t test my patience. Get out before I lose it completely."

She nodded shakily and scurried out of the room, but not before shooting Y/N a sharp glare that sent a chill down her spine.

The room fell into an eerie silence. Y/N dared to glance at Taehyung, who was now pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration.

She gulped. "What the fu—" she started but quickly stopped herself, awkwardly coughing to cover up her words.

Taehyung’s sharp eyes snapped to her. "What?" he asked, his tone more confused than angry.

"N-Nothing," Y/N mumbled, offering a sheepish smile before burying her face back in her files.

Taehyung stared at her for a moment before shaking his head in disbelief. "Childish," he muttered under his breath, though the corners of his lips tugged upwards slightly.

Y/N exhaled a sigh of relief, her heart still hammering in her chest. She stole a quick glance at him, catching him subtly smirking before he returned to his work.

The Beginning of Tension

Taehyung might have thought the drama was over, but the storm brewing between him and Y/N was only just beginning.

YN's eyes met Taehyung's, and for a moment, time stood still. The tension between them was palpable, and Wonyoung's presence only added to the awkwardness.

"What are you doing here, Miss YN?" Taehyung asked, his voice firm but laced with a hint of curiosity.

"I...I came to give you some documents, sir," YN stammered, her eyes darting between Taehyung and Wonyoung.

Wonyoung's face fell, and she took a step back, her eyes narrowing. "So, you're here to serve him, huh?" she sneered, her voice dripping with malice.

YN's eyes flashed with anger, but she bit back her retort. Instead, she took a deep breath and handed Taehyung the documents. "Here, sir. I'll leave now."

Taehyung's eyes never left YN's face as he took the documents from her. For a moment, it seemed like he was searching for something, but YN couldn't quite put her finger on what it was.

"Okay," he said finally, his voice softening ever so slightly.

YN nodded and turned to leave, but not before catching Wonyoung's glare. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that Wonyoung was far from done with her.

As YN left the office, she couldn't shake off the feeling that she was walking into a storm. Little did she know that the storm was only just beginning.
