10~ Their First Conversation

RIDDHIMA'S POV

Right now I was attending a meeting, in conference room everyone from staff to employers were there and dad was presenting his thoughts.

There was one more person but I don't know why he was looking at me instead of paying attention to the meeting and he was none other than Aditya Singhania..I couldn't even say anything to him because he is the son of my dad's friend but I didn't think I was having any problem with him but why was he looking at me, did he find out about my baby, will my baby be in danger now.

I secretly looked at him, was he still looking at me and the answer was yes, his dark brown eyes were towards me, I did not know what he wanted from me... did he know about my vocal problem,...but how was this possible even the staff here did not know about this, then how can an outsider know about it.

My thought process got disrupted when dad dismissed everyone and slowly everyone started to leave but he stopped but why dad didn't dismiss him ...why is he considering himself so important...I don't know what was happening to me but by his presence somethingwas happening with me, this has never happened to me.

"Prin-"Dad was about to say something but in the middle his phone started ringing and he went outside to talk.

Now only I and Mr.Singhania were inside. He was just standing there and was looking at me and was not saying anything and even I could not say anything here.

I was about to go when he caught my hand and I was stunned. I did not understand anything and I jerked his hand away in fear.

"I..I sorry Ms.Maheshwari I am really sorry my intention was not to go ahead I just wanted to talk to you but I am not able to understand how to do it I had no plan to scare you, trust me" He started blabbering and I smiled at his honesty.

He seemed more afraid than me

I was about to say something but I held back my breathing I had forgotten for a while that I could not talk but now how do I tell him this thing if i gestured him something will he make fun of me.

I was thinking but he interrupted

"Hey you okay Ms.Maheshwari you are looking lost today"

Of course I will feel that I was fighting with my inner voice.

I could not say anything so I just nodded.

And he smiled

His smile was very beautiful I did not want to use that beautiful words but I was not able to remember anything else.

"If you are fine can I take your 5 minutes"

5 minutes why?

I thought for a while that he is our investor, it would not be good if I had left like this, that's why I said yes.

And again he smiled

And this time I noticed carefully that there was a slight dimple on his left cheek

He was looking cute

"Aa..can we sit and talk" he asked

I nodded and we went out of the meeting room towards my cabin.

We both came inside my cabin and he asked me to sit first and he himself sat on the other side.

Such a gentleman

"Aa...Riddhima can I call you by your name right?" he asked hesitantly

Why did I feel so good hearing my name today and i immediately scold myself.

"I can call you by your name right" he asked again

And I nodded my head

"Okay myself Aditya Singhania you know it already actually I wanted to talk to you from the first day I saw you but I was not able to understand how to start"he said

Then I saw your work here and I liked it a lot, you make very good designs so what about you Can make some designs with pearls for our company"

And I was shocked

"See I know I am an investor in your company but this is my personal request to you so will you do this for me" he asked

And I was looking at him I mean leaving my dad and brother no one has praised me till date not even my ex-husband but here he is asking me to make designs for his own company

No correct me he didn't ask me he request me.

Now what should I do what should I say to him... should I refuse but he came to me with so much hope... how can I refuse.

"Riddhima"

I looked at him

And without thinking twice I nodded

"O my God thank you so much"

"You don't know how easy you have made my work"

And I smiled but professionally

And in the meantime dad came inside

"Princess you were here I was looking for you"

And then dad's eyes fell on Aditya and he was shocked to see him and I knew why

"Aditya you are also here"

He stood up and went near him

"Actually Mr.Maheshwari I wanted to talk to her and now I am done with talk so I am leaving"

In shocked dad did not say anything and he left from there.

"Princess he was here with you I mean okay let it be"

"But what did he say to you"

I stopped dad.. Dad was a little surprised because till now I was not comfortable with anyone but today something was different, he was not giving me an unsafe feeling.

"I am fine dad, he just wanted to discuss something with me and nothing else"i gestured him

"Are you sure?" He raised his eyebrow

I nodded

"And what did he say"

"Let's go home, I will tell you everything in the car"I told him

"Okay but in detail"

I laughed and nodded.
