16~ "That's my girl"

AUTHOR'S POV,

One week passed like this, Riddhima kept going to Aditya's office to help him.

In these days she slowly started liking staying with him. The one who had not met anyone for 6 months had now got used to spending time with Aditya.

But maybe she did not know that as much as she was feeling comfortable with him, He was going crazy for her..now it was becoming difficult for him to stay away with her.

Whenever Aditya closed with Riddhima, he would get lost in her. Sometimes, awkward situations would come between them but he handled them perfectly.

And today also both of them were working on designs in Aditya's cabin but this was just an excuse, the real aim was to keep Riddhima close.

Aditya was just watching Riddhima,who was working silently, but in next moment he heard a knock on the door and he cursed under his breath.

"Come in" he said coldly which made Riddhima frown.

"Boss-" Aarav was going to call him boss but stopped in the middle when he saw Riddhima was there.

"Aditya it's an emergency you need to come with me"

So Aditya groaned while glaring at him "you could have called me"

And now Aarav knew that he had disturbed him with his love but could he even do that, that conversation could not have happened on the phone.

"Aditya we can't talk on phone I won't take much time only 10 minutes" Aarav completed his words

At this Aditya looked towards Riddhima and said "okay I am coming"

And after glanced at Riddhima he went out of the cabin.

Here Riddhima was thinking about Aarav and she was remembering him

She knew Aarav is Aditya's friend...Aditya had told her about him but her attention was focused on Aarav's boss word.

Because she knew Aarav is a famous businessman not only in India but in foreign too, then why he called him that.

Before that she thought of something else they both came inside the cabin.

"Riddhima what happened, why are you looking so restless" Aditya asked while going towards her

At this, she immediately shook her head and drank the water which was kept in the glass on the table.

"Baccha, relax and don't worry, he is going now"

"Yes bhab- I mean Miss.Maheshwari I am done with my work, now I am leaving" Before Aarav could say anything further, she got up from her place and slowly went towards him and shake her head.

Aarav looked at Aditya in confusion because he was not able to understand Riddhima's gestures.

"She is saying that she has no problem with you..right baccha?" he said and Riddhima smiled and blinked her eyes.

"Oh..and don't worry Miss. Maheshwari I just had some work to do now you guys can do your work"

"I think you have talked a lot today now you should go" Aditya said while clenching his jaw.

At that time he was controlling his anger because he did not like anyone talking to his love at all and that too if he talked so comfortable with her.

"I am going, bye Miss.Maheshwari "
Aarav said the last word deliberately and quickly saved his life and left from there.

And At this, Aditya twisted his fingers...he was just thinking how to teach Aarav a good lesson but suddenly his anger flew away, when Riddhima caught his hand

Again.

Aditya immediately turned his face and said "Kya hua?"

(What happened?)

As soon as she heard, she turned towards the note and wrote something in it and gave it to him.

"You tell me what happened to you, some time ago you were telling really good jokes, but why is your face so red now?" After reading this note a smile came on Aditya's face and he said

"Nothing happened to me, I am absolutely fine, but yes I am tired of working, if you say so, can we go out."

On this question of Aditya, she looked at him for some second and then worte something again and gave it to him.

"Okay we can continue tomorrow but I am not used to going out."

He still asked even though he knew "Why?"

So she lowered her head because she could not tell the truth but did not want to lie that, why she did not go out because she was afraid to interact with people, no she was not ready to tell him anything not yet.

When Aditya did not get any answer, he raised Riddhima's chin and said,

"baccha, if you are with me, it is impossible anything to happen with you, but if you ever feel uncomfortable, tell me immediately without any hesitation, we will come back from there."

Riddhima listened to what he said, but her full attention was now focused on the 'baccha'. The way he spoke to her, probably no one would have spoken to her today. And before Aditya could say anything further, Riddhima again gave him a note.

"No, I don't feel scared or uncomfortable with you, So I will come with you"

"That's my girl" to Aditya these words came out unknowingly but Riddhima felt something different.

After that, Aditya made Riddhima sit comfortably on the passenger seat in the car and started driving the car himself.

But when he was on the way, Aditya got a call from the construction guy and he put the call on speaker and asked coldly, "what happened?"

Then a voice came from the otherside.."Sir, it would be good if you come here once and see the work"

To this Aditya replied, "It's okay, you guys finish your work and go, I will come and see later" Saying this, he hung up..and when he looked towards Riddhima, she was looking at him with questioning eyes.

"This is your dad's work which I am handling now" he said immediately

On this Riddhima asked him "can we go there and see it? Dad never took me there..please just once"

He understood her gesture and replied "But right now the work is going on there, we will go later if needed"

After this Riddhima did not say anything to him and sat quietly on her seat.

But now Aditya was not liking her upset face which was looking like,that she will cry at any moment, but he could not take her to that dangerous place.

Fighting with my own heart and mind he finally said "Okay fine you have to watch the site, we will see from outside, now come on give me your precious smile"

Hearing him a big smile came on her small face and she said thank you while lip-synching.

Aditya shook his head thinking how quickly this girl's mood changes.
