18~In Each Other's Arms

ADITYA'S POV,

I got an urgent call so I had to go away from Riddhima because it was related to my underworld and I could not take any risk in this.

But when I came back she was not there and my heart forgot to beat for a while in fear that she might get into some trouble.

"RIDDHIMA" I called her but I probably forgot in the hurry that she could not talk. So without wasting a second I went inside the building and started checking the rooms around me.

I had hardly ever been so scared in my life as I was today.

Then there was just one last room left in ground floor and that cabin which was just ready, I hoped that she was not there but no

I went near her and said "Riddhima, you enjoy giving me a mini heart attack right?"

As soon as I said this she frowned while looking at me.

Before I could say anything further, the kitten jumped out of her hand and started going outside.But as soon as he started going I suddenly remembered something and before that I could stop that kitten, he had gone out and the cabin's sensor gate was closed.

And fuck I had kept my phone in the car.

I grabbed my hair in frustration but I felt a soft and warm touch on my back and I controlled my anxiety and looked back.

She asked me with the help of her finger "what happened?"

Now what should I tell her that we were stuck here..if she felt any discomfort or she thought that I did it knowingly..or she thought about me like other men

Then I paused for a while and answered her that this sensor gate will now open from outside only.

I wanted to tell her that there is no need for her to worry..we will leave from here soon but suddenly my breath slowed down and then something struck in my mind that in all these things I had forgotten that I get anxiety in a closed room, I cannot stay in a closed place for more than 10 minutes and that too when there is only one window.

As the second bit was passing my breath was getting stuck in my throat and I did not know how to tell this to her.

I had just taken a step forward when I inadvertently fell down on my knees.

I was breathing slowly and was trying to get up, when Riddhima's hand held me and I fell on top of her.

AUTHOR'S POV,

As soon as Riddhima heard the sound of someone falling, she turned back and saw Aditya on the ground and was breathing very heavily. It seemed as if he was not able to take a breath in.

Then without wasting any time she ran to him and sat in front of him and with hesitantly she took his face in her small palm and asked in gesture "What happened why are you so restless..is there any problem with you tell me"

Aditya was not in a condition to understand Riddhima's sign language, he could only understand that she was saying something to him but what, he had no clue.

He wanted to say something to her but his voice was muffled somewhere inside..but even in this situation he was worried about Riddhima and her baby that if something happened to her baby, this question was eating him inside that he should not have brought Riddhima here.

"R..Riddhima where is your phone..give me your phone"

On this question Riddhima remembered that she did not even bring the phone with her..now Riddhima's face started turning pale.

"I don't have it, I left her in the car and came here"

Aditya got even more scared because if for some reason something happened to his child, he would never forgive himself.

On the other side, Riddhima was looking at Aditya's condition. Seeing his in this condition, she herself had forgotten that she too was feeling scared a little while ago...she was watching Aditya going near the door.

"Is there someone outside I.. I need to go out...if someone is outside, then open the fucking door."

He shouted from inside. He was thinking that there must be someone in this building because When both of them were in the car, the worker called aditya and maybe he has not left from here yet.

"Is anyone outside?" Aditya shouted again while banging the door.

but did not get any response.

"We have to get out of here, we cannot stay here for long and no, I cannot let you stay here either, the paint work is not done here, if you and our child get infected then..hell no" Aditya was talking to himself, his voice was not reaching Riddhima.

Here Riddhima was feeling bad seeing Aditya's condition but what could she do, she did not know how to calm Aditya down, so for a few seconds she closed her eyes and with some courage went near Aditya and placed her shaking hands on his chest and wrapped her arms around him.

And then Aditya was stunned... Whatever he was thinking at that time, he had forgotten it now..he had even forgotten where he was just now, he only wanted to remember that his Riddhima had hugged him.

And in next moment, she started caressing Aditya's back slowly...she was not able to see Aditya in this condition..no matter how far she ran away from men, but inside her humanity was still alive...but was she doing all this as humanity or was there something else?

After a few seconds Aditya separated Riddhima from himself and said

"I am f...fine now Riddhima, don't worry"

To this she gestured "No you are not fine, look you are feeling uneasy, you have fever too"

Aditya smiled a little at this and said "But before that we both have to leave from here"

On this Riddhima looked at him and was feeling as if she was sure that Aditya will do something and she trusted him...This look of hers was driving Aditya out of control..Riddhima's every expression was forcing him to lose control even in that situation.

Unknowingly his finger touched her side lip which made Riddhima flinched.

She thought might be it happened by mistake

But no she was wrong

Aditya's next question made her shiver in her spine.

"I want to kiss you...can I?"
