The sun was setting over the paddock, the golden light bouncing off the sleek race cars lined up for an upcoming charity event. Laughter and chatter filled the air as drivers and team members milled about. In the middle of it all, George sat on a bench, his sharp features softened into an expression of pure adoration. In his arms, swaddled in pastel yellow, was the tiniest human he'd ever seen.

Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel, retired legends and still iconic as ever, had arrived with their baby girl, Mia. The couple had brought her to introduce her to the paddock "family," and the sight of the little omega baby had sent the entire group into chaos.

But none more than George.

He’d been the first to step forward when Kimi, ever-stoic, had said, "Want to hold her?" George’s response had been almost reverent, his voice catching as he whispered, "Can I?"

Now, here he was, the six-month-old cradled securely in his arms as if she were made of glass. Her tiny hand had wrapped around his pinky, and George looked like he'd found the key to the universe.

Checo, watching from a few feet away, couldn’t stop the grin stretching across his face. His alpha was glowing. There was no other word for it. George’s usually precise, composed demeanor had melted into something Checo could only describe as love.

Sebastian leaned against Kimi, smirking. "He’s a natural. Almost too good."

Kimi shrugged, his tone as flat as ever. "Bet he'll ask you for tips next."

Checo didn’t even mind the teasing. His chest was so full it felt like it might burst.

"He's been holding her for an hour," Checo said, voice warm as he leaned toward Sebastian. "Not that I’m complaining. I think I’m in love with him all over again."

"Careful," Seb teased, his green eyes glinting. "Babies are contagious. You’ll be next."

The thought sent a shiver through Checo—not of fear, but of longing.

He stepped closer to George, sliding onto the bench beside him. "She likes you," he murmured softly.

George didn’t look up, his attention fully on Mia. His thumb gently traced circles on her back as she cooed. "She’s perfect, Checo," he said, his voice so quiet and tender that it made Checo’s heart skip a beat.

Checo reached out, brushing a hand over Mia’s soft hair. Their fingers brushed, and when George finally turned to him, the look in his eyes was enough to knock the breath out of him.

"You’re perfect," Checo said, just as softly, his voice breaking with emotion.

"You’re both ridiculous," Kimi interrupted, handing Sebastian a bottle of water. "She’s just a baby."

But even the usually ice-cold Finn couldn’t hide the small smirk tugging at his lips.

"Leave them be," Sebastian said, grinning as he watched the couple. "Checo looks like he’s planning their whole future already."

Checo flushed but didn’t deny it. "And what if I am?" he said, holding George’s gaze.

George’s lips parted, his eyes widening. "You mean…?"

"I mean," Checo said, taking a deep breath, "I can’t stop thinking about it. About us. About…having this." He gestured to Mia, still peacefully asleep in George’s arms. "A family."

Sebastian made an exaggerated aww sound, earning a glare from Kimi. But even the teasing couldn’t ruin the moment.

George’s expression crumpled, his omega instincts lighting up like fireworks. "Checo, I—"

Before he could finish, Checo reached out, gently cupping his face. "You don’t have to say anything," he said softly. "I already know."

But George did say something.

"I want that too," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "With you. Only you."

The teasing from the other drivers became a distant hum as George leaned forward, resting his forehead against Checo’s. The warmth between them was almost tangible, a quiet promise of a future neither of them had dared to dream of until now.

Mia stirred in George’s arms, and he shifted, holding her closer. Checo watched him with so much love it hurt, the image of his careful, gentle alpha cradling a child burning itself into his memory.

He knew, in that moment, that nothing could ever top this.

Well, except for the day it was their baby George held.
