May, an 18-year-old Omega, stepped into university with nervousness. His attractive features, hidden beneath a loose hoodie, couldn't shield him from the unkind world.Beautiful Omegas like him were often preyed upon. One whiff of his pheromones could spark desire in others.
He knew that people always wanted a sexual relationship with him. He knew that Omegas were nothing but breeding machines in Alpha's eyes. Today was his first day at university, and he was scared of being alone. He was scared of something happening to him.
As he was navigating the campus, his fear of being alone intensified. Tian, his childhood friend, attended a different university, leaving May feeling lonely and more scared.
He wore a hoodie up to his hair, trying his best not to show his face. Predators always lingered, seeking prey like him. His simple baggy jeans and sneakers disguised his slender frame.
As he walked to his first class, he bumped into something hard. Someone's chest. He lifted his head to look at the one he bumped into, without even noticing that he was groping the man. Nonetheless, he lost his breath when he looked at the man; his heart started beating fast.
The man was charismatic; his face and body were like that of a god perfectly sculpted. Their eyes met, and the man looked at him with eyes full of love. But May, as oblivious as he was, thought it was lust. He thought the man was looking at him with eyes full of desire, and his heart shrunk. His gaze hardened.
Trying to pull out of the man's grasp, he smelled something - something minty? He couldn't quite grasp the scent, but it was so good. It smelled so nice, yet so dominant. He knew the man holding him was a dominant Alpha, and he hated Alphas.
His instincts screamed and he pushed at the man's chest hard, but he didn't even flinch. Fucking Alphas. May got angrier; he wanted to run out of this man's grasp, who looked so majestic.
"Can you please let go of me?" He tried saying this with coldness in his voice, but it came out more like a soft, low voice. He wondered if the man even heard him.
"I'm sorry; I didn't realize." The man said, still holding him close. His voice was deep and mesmerizing.
May couldn't keep this up; he would submit to this man. Freaking Omega traits, he thought. And without even realizing, he started, "Yes, of course, you wouldn't notice. You Alphas are all the same. Just let go of me already."
His voice didn't come out soft this time. The man immediately let go of him, and he looked...sad? May couldn't grasp the situation; he felt bad at the man's reaction, but he had already said what he said; he couldn't take it back.
"I'm sorry; I didn't mean..." the man said more softly, as if he's this gentle only to May.
May couldn't believe it; he didn't want to believe that, at the end of the day, Alphas only wanted sex. So he left without even replying to the man, without even looking back. He left, and the man stood there, trying to figure out what he did to anger the fiesty omega.

Boys and girls were all over him, trying hard for his attention, but he couldn't care less about any of those people. He didn't give a shit about romantic relationships; in his opinion, no strings should be attached. He was not a sane virgin guy; he was a freaking asshole who only had sex with someone when he was in his rut or when he felt like it. He was an asshole bad boy everyone was dying for, but he didn't want anyone.
That was until he saw a guy outside the uni building fiddling with his hoodie, which was too big for his size, hiding all that small body. When he saw those eyes that held so much innocence and loneliness, his whole world shattered; his whole beliefs changed.
He never believed in love at first sight, but he knew he fell for his eyes, and it was something beyond lust. He couldn't really figure out the feeling, but he knew one thing - to protect this boy from everyone.
The naive boy, without looking up, collided with his chest, and when he looked up at Kay, he finally knew he liked this boy. The boy didn't even realize he was groping his chest, but Kay kinda liked the feeling of his small hands touching him.
But he didn't understand what he did wrong. He couldn't understand why the boy said all Alphas were the same and ran away from him like he was a freaking monster when he clearly knew the boy was attracted to him.
Kay felt angry, so angry, but something in him couldn't hurt the boy or say something more rude. He didn't want to hurt him. And now it's something new, it's a new emotion he is feeling.
He wanted to go after the boy, but his legs didn't move. He stood there, frozen, watching the boy disappear into the crowd.
What just happened? Why did the boy react like that? Kay thought to himself.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down, but his mind was racing. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he had found someone special.
As he walked back to his car, he couldn't help but think about the boy. His eyes, his soft lips, his scent... everything about him drew Kay in he just wanted to kiss the boy so hard and claim him.
"I will find you," Kay whispered to himself. "And when I do, you will be mine."
The determination in Kay's voice was unmistakable. He would stop at nothing to make the boy his.
Meanwhile, May was walking back to his class, his heart still racing from the encounter. He couldn't believe how he reacted.
He hated Alphas, or so he thought. But there was something about the man that made him feel different.
May shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He couldn't afford to get distracted. He had to focus on his studies.
But as he lay in bed that night, he couldn't shake off the feeling that his life was about to change forever.
And it was all because of the charismatic Alpha he met earlier that day.
