It was the year 2280, it marked the 70 year anniversary of androids being introduced.

All buildings were tall and modern. The city of Mirai, the first city where androids were introduced. Many things had happened since then, multiple advances in technology, medicine, and food. Everything was made easier with the introduction of androids.

They helped with their precision in surgeries, their knack for cleaning and moving things, and helping out in any way you could imagine.

Marrisa was a person who owned a Class-AS, Advanced Supreme android. They were incredibly expensive, costing as much as 150.000 dollars, and that was the cheapest price. Law was the name of the android. But nowadays, it seemed to rebel, to be more sentient about it's surroundings. She wanted to see what was wrong with it as she told him, "We're going to the repair shop! Come on!"

But Law swatted Marrisa's hand away as he scoffed and said, "I'm not going there! I always get poked and touched without my consent! It's annoying! Can't you just deal with it?"

Marrisa was about to give up, so she yelled in frustration and walked out of the room, yelling, "Fine! Have it your way!!"

Law was rather shocked that she'd give up so easily, he thought she would've put up more of a fight with this like when he used to rebel against other things. He wondered why she had given up so easily.

But he soon got his answer when he was quickly tied up and put in a bag.

'Ah, so that's why.' Was his only thought. He kicked and punched to get out of the bag but it was no use, and then he heard the car engined start, followed by Marrisa saying, "You're going whether you like it or not! If I have to drag you there so be it! I did not waste 200,000 dollars just to have you be disobedient!!"

He felt the car moving, especially when she had to turn or stop at a red light.

'Who thought it'd be a good idea to have robots feel pain?'

Law dreaded every moment until he felt the car come to the stop, sighing with disappointment. Marrisa carried him over the shoulder, which wasn't easy since he was pretty heavy. She had to kick the door open because her two hands were busy as she laid Law down the desk where the repairman had just hung up a phone call.

"Excuse me, but what am I looking at right now?"

"My android has been rather disobedient lately! Not doing the chores like I order him to, not cooking dinner when I tell him! I'm a very busy woman, surely you recognize me."

The repairman looked up at Marrisa, her freckles and green eyes making him realize who she was.

"Ah, Marrisa! The daughter of Damon, the CEO of Androids Inc! How is he by the way? Making up new upgrades for android?"

"All I can tell you is that it's going to be something BIG!" She smiled as the repairman took Law out of the bag despite his vast knowledge of cursing and using all of them in a single sentence too disturbing for the author to write.

"LET ME GO!" Yelled Law as they attached several wires on him. The repairman started examining him despite Law's yelling. After an hour, the repairman told Marrisa, "I've checked him and his programming, there was a glitch and he slowly became sentient from that very same glitch, which is why he disobeys your orders."

"I see, what can I do to make him obey me once again?"

"Well, the easy way is wiping out all of his memory and then restarting him, but it isn't recommended because then he...he'll a little wonky at times, so that's why it isn't recommended. The other way is digging deep into it's program and finding the bug or glitch that caused this, then resetting it, this way it doesn't act weird or is unresponsive, but this option is expensive, extremely."

"How much?" Said Marrisa as the repairman whispered the price in her ear, leaving Marrisa in shock.

"That much?!" Marrisa looked at Law who was attached to the wires and told the repairman, "How much can I get recycling him?"

The repairman looked shock, but he then he said, "85 thousand dollars, which is the cheapest you can get, I'll send you the money once the whole process is over."

"Got it." Marrisa turned around, waving goodbye to Law as she left. Immeadiatly, his programming went into overdrive as he began to panic. The thought of practically being killed and then sold for parts was horrifying. The repairman tried to calm Law down, but what can you do when an android just heard he's going to die? So of course, he continued panicking, pulling and trying to break free from the wires that were restraining him.

The repair man left for one minute to get his tools to dismantle Law, but then he saw the room a mess, wires on the floor, papers everywhere and all his tools sprawled on the floor. He head the door open and saw Law running away as fast as he could. He rushed out of the repair shop before yelling, "Android on the loose, android on the loose!"

Law could hear the sirens of police androids coming his way, his robotic legs working overdrive to run as fast as he could. He knocked over several people who were in the way, but in his defense, he did yell out to make sure they moved, so it was on them.

But he could hear the louder sirens, that wasn't good.

'The elite ones?! I'm just one android, and they need this much just for me?! Well I feel so honored!" Law knew those type of androids were faster, tougher to break, mad most of all, wouldn't stop until they caught the person or android they were looking for. He turned around, seeing the elite androids, which were 8 feet tall and were practically made of obsidian running at full speed towards him.

He went even faster than his max speed. Nothing like fear boosting your speed. He looked around seeing if he could fool them, but he was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt someone grab his wrist and pull him to a dark alley. The oldest trick in the book at it still works even after what, 2000 years?

He looked to see who had saved him from being dismantled and recycled, only to see a female with light brown hair and slightly wide amber eyes and slightly tan skin. The person grinned and said, "Looks like ya owe me one for that!"
