02 - The Calm Before The Storm

Taking photos with the other captains in the aquarium was probably the most boring thing I had done on the trip so far.

At this point, I would rather be doing anything else.

The flashing camera and aquarium light shining in everyone's face only adding to my slight annoyance.

The camera belonging to the photographer sticking close to everyone's faces, as he spammed the photo button on his camera, probably filling up all his memory card.

Anyone could tell that the room was tense. All the captain's of each team were standing so close together when they all hated one another because of how cut throat the tournament was going to be. I was standing beside Kwon, him looking just as bored as I was, but both of us trying to muster up a smile for the camera, a small smile sitting on my lips.

"Smile more" the photographer's words echoing slightly in the room as he speaks, taking more photos.

The rest of our team watched, standing behind the camera man off to the side.

I looked to my side when someone nudged my arm, seeing a brunette girl smiling at him.

"Some of these boys are cute, huh?" she says, looking over at one of the guys on the other side of me.

I look at her slightly confused.

"I guess so" I muttered as the photographer let his camera drop against his chest as he spoke.

"You there in the back, smile" the man says to someone behind me.

The curiosity in me rises as I look over my shoulder, seeing a really tall guy who had eyes that were as blue as the ocean.

I give him a small smile as his eyes lock with mine, he smiles back. My eyes are pulled away from the guy as someone nudges my arm again but on my other side this time.

I turn and see Kwon looking down at me, me raising an eyebrow at him.

"You're not supposed to be all friendly to our enemies, Little lamb" he whispers to me.

I give him a small frown

"This is a karate tournament, not a battlefield" I whisper back, then turn back to the camera as the last few photos are taken.

"This is a battlefield, and the war is just beginning" Kwon bends down slightly and whispers in my ear, then he stands up straight and turns back to the camera.

I see Kwon smirk in the corner of my eye, the look on his face annoying me as usual.

"Okay, lets get some more-"

I grumble and walk off, my back to everyone.

"Okay, never mind, we're done" the photographer finishes.

I hear Kwon mutter something as I continue walking further into the aquarium.

I stop in front of a group of fish, slowly zoning out as I watch them.

"You okay?"

I turn my head and my eyes meet Tory's.

"Yeah, fine" I nod slowly, my body tense as I think about the past few days in Barcelona.

"Was she always that tough on you?" Tory asks, her voice softer now as she watches me carefully.

I raise an eyebrow at her.
