Long Distance Is Short

No distance is ever easy for anybody no matter how old or in love you are with the other person that you can't physically touch whenever you want to. Macy and Aaron both experienced this when they figured out that in order for each other to see the other one in person it was 16 hours in between them. Macy, doing what she does best, did some research of how far Nebraska is from Tennessee.

16 hours and 40 minutes drive via I-70 or a 7 hour plane ride to Tennessee for $442. This didn't stop Macy from getting the money rounded up and saved up, so she could go see Aaron. Macy has never been a fan of flying as flying with anxiety causes her to think of all the worst things possible, she would have to put that fear aside for now if she really wanted to go see him in person. She also knew she could ask him to come to Nebraska, but figured it would be a way to escape her parents from asking all these non stop questions. Macy also enjoyed getting and taking the chance to explore a new state, as well as the scenery that she has never been to, or seen. The first night they were there Macy and Aaron went on a date to supper at Little Dutch Restaurant, they also visited forbidden caverns tourist attraction site, then they went to the hotel room. Macy knew that every day she spent with him was just going to make it worse when she had to leave him to go back to Nebraska for work, and she also knew she had to go back to her daughter Mckenzie Nicole from a previous relationship even though she would much rather stay in Tennessee and be happy. One month has pasted when Aaron came to Nebraska to meet Macy's parents and most importantly her daughter, she decided to take him to her favorite country bar Joe's Honkey Tonk had a couple drinks there, went to the fun center and played pool there and drank some more. It wasn't all about the drinking, but also to interact with Macy's friends, because she knew that if they liked him that was the sign that he was a good fit for her. The both of them knew they wanted some alone time together so they got a hotel room in town away from Macy's parents and daughter, but also wanted to make the time they had together memorable as in getting the dirty on and making it worth every single second they had together. Aaron ended up having to go back to work, they continued to talk on the phone for another month when Macy started feeling weird, she found out that she was pregnant with their first kid. She told Aaron and he insisted that they take the next step which was telling her parents so she could move so April 30, 2024 she told them that she and Mckenzie are moving in with Aaron in Tennessee. It took Macy about a week to finally tell her boss and co-workers that she was quitting and that she had other things in store for her and Mckenzie's future.
