CHAPTER 2:PRINCE ZEE

"your majesty, am sorry to interrupt you but I bring news", general Felmod said ," four of our soldiers have died in our encounter with the olascope members " ,after hearing this the king opined ,"thanks for your message general Felmod, you can take your leave now. King Zachariah then said, "queen Zelinda prepare for the sacrificial ceremony tonight, make sure you inform your children especially that spoiled brat of a prince". Queen Zelinda then proceeded to inform her children, she informed Anna but she did not find Zee in his room so she told Anna to look for Zee and inform him about the ceremony. Anna went to Zee's room, as she knew he was hiding from the Queen, and shouted, "Zee! Mom is gone now ,you can come out you pussy cat",Zee came out from his hiding spot nervously and emoted,"keep it down sis ,mom could hear you".Anna then exploded in laughter as she said,"ok !ok your majesty. You know what Zee whether you like it or not you must attend the ritual as it is traditional for the crowned prince to be present during the sacrifice " i know, I know but the thing is that I don't like the way people, especially Dad and his advisors look at me, I can clearly tell that they loathe me", Zee said .Anna looked at her little brother Zee, smiled and gave him a huge hug and said," Zee no one loathes you and if they do don't worry I will always be by your side, that's a promise!" after hearing what his sister said Zee felt calm and told her that he would attend the ritual.

Later that afternoon the royal family, advisors and relatives of the deceased soldiers gathered at Isura for the sacrifice, they had to wait until the moon was out to enter Isura-as this was part of the ceremony. When they entered Isura King Zachariah started emoting, "oh great ancestral spirits I king Zachariah bring to you children of your own, descendants of Zeus and fallen brothers of the NOVA clan,please accept their spirits into the spirit realm."after that the Queen and princess carried the bodies of the soldiers and placed them on a large intricate rectangular shaped stone and Zee was given a knife to cut off the heads of the soldiers -as this was the role of a prince in the ceremony-as Zee was given the knife he walked nervously, as he started remembering all the bodies he has being beheading ever since he was a boy, he approached the bodies and opined,"great Zeus! give me thy strength "he then lifted the knife and sliced the first three heads, then moved on to the fourth body as he was about to behead the body he saw the eye of the body gazing at him with animosity-it was an illusion- immediately after this Zee dropped his knife and started shouting, "no!no! No! am sorry I won't kill you." Everyone inside Isura was surprised ,then King Zachariah angrily approached the rectangular shaped stone ,picked up the knife , emoted,'forgive me spirits for my son's behavior I will accept any punishment but please accept the spirit of my fallen soldiers", beheaded the fourth body and completed the ritual by burning the bodies. The king left with his advisors, Anna came to her brother,helped him up on his feet and they went back to the castle. There was a fracus at the castle as the queen and king were arguing, Zee was in Anna's room sleeping. King Zachariah then entered Anna's room angrily and shouted, "Zee! Where are you ? You bastered of a son ,you're even sleeping after embarrassing me infront of everyone." The king then grabbed Zee on the shoulders and threw him on the wall,Zee was completely startled as he was just from sleeping, Anna saw that her father wanted to punch Zee as he clinched his fist so she tried to intervine but she was slapped when Zee saw this he was angry and tried to punch his father but he was brought to his knees by a kick to his abdomen which was followed by aggressive punches to the body, Zee was completely outpowered ,queen zelinda then intervened and said,"stop it Zachariah! You are going to kill him" to which the king responded, "l can always have another one "the king eventually stopped and said, "from now on Zee you will leave your life as a commoner, until I see you worth to be my son". The king left, queen zelinda then went to Zee so as to tend to his wounds but he refused saying, "check up on Anna and am leaving." The next morning prince Zee left the castle without informing anyone.
