4 | He Came Out of My Vagina, Grandma

♡━━━♡━━━♡

The long awaited day came a lot quicker than Willow thought it might.

She had come to terms with Bella being in love with Edward well before this, same with her wish to become a vampire. Willow's sister had always been stubborn, and this felt like the one thing she had no opinion on even if she dared to share hers.

Monday ran across the beach with the other pack members and laughed happily with his friends. He was more at home on the reservation than at the Cullen's home. Though he did love them, Willow knew it was a wolf thing. Lycan or not, he and Sloane would never leave the reservation if they had the choice. Everything here felt like one big family while there seemed to be more tension at the Cullen house than there were members of their family.

Willow leaned back into Leah and closed her eyes when her friend wrapped her arms around her. She was grateful to have a moment alone with her friend for once. Lavender was busy with Rosalie and Alice—of course—which meant Willow had a few hours before the wedding to chill with the wolves.

And she was happy about that. Especially when she was met with a huge bear hug by Jacob Black himself. He seemed in a glum mood, so they all sat there in their little clique, watching the other wolves play soccer and enjoy the nice beach day.

"Maybe they'll say she was in a car crash." Jacob continued to influence Willow's dark thoughts with his out loud thinking. "Or tripped and fell off a cliff."

She'd already hissed at him twice for assuming the Cullens would come up with the most brutal of lies, but then he had some points that made more sense than anything. Like the lies they would have to come up with in order to keep Charlie from showing up at their door with a shotgun and the FBI.

"Go, Moon! Go!" Sloane cheered, passing the ball to her nephew and racing down the beach as the boy took off for the fake goal drawn in the kicked up sand.

"At least I'll get one thing out of it." Jacob smiled to himself.

Willow rolled her eyes. She didn't need a mindlink to know what he referred to.

"No, you won't." Sam cut into their conversation. "The Cullens are not a danger to the town or the tribe."

Willow sat up lightly and shared a look with Leah.

"Are they allowed on the reservation?" She asked. "Because I'm leaving for a few days, and I'd love for Monday to spend time with both the Cullens and the pack."

"I don't see an issue." Sam passed the soccer ball off to another boy and nodded to Leah. "Lavender included. No hunting. No problems."

"Well, Edward's either going to kill Bella or change her!" Jacob sourly protested. "And the treaty says—"

"I say, Jacob." Sam interrupted. "I say."

Tension rose on the beach between the younger pack members as Sam jogged off to join the game again. Willow watched him go with an unease sigh, seeing how much Monday enjoyed being on this side of the treaty line. She was grateful for the leniency between the wolves and the vampires, but she did worry what might happen if the wrong vampire and wrong wolf butt heads.

"If you wanted things different, you should have become alpha, Jake." Rebecca shot her brother a look as she lowered down to the sand beside Leah and Willow. She pouted lightly at her friend's tired eyes. "Wow. Charlie wasn't kidding. You look horrible."
