Ji-Min stood before his wardrobe, his fingers swiftly sorting through the clothes hanging inside. The soft light of the early morning filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on the room. He pulled out a white and pink mixed sweater, one that looked effortlessly stylish but comfortable, and paired it with a set of crisp white pants. Satisfied, he walked toward the bed where Tae-Hyung lay, still drowsy, half-covered by the blankets. Without much warning, Ji-Min tossed the clothes onto Tae-Hyung’s lap, his expression a mix of seriousness and excitement.

"Go, get a bath and change into these clothes. It’s already 8 a.m., and I promised Jung-Kook hyung we’d meet at 10," Ji-Min instructed, his voice firm but light-hearted as he put his hands on his hips, tapping his foot with impatience.

Tae-Hyung groaned, clearly reluctant to leave the comfort of the bed. "But it’s still early…" he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep as he pulled the covers up around his head.

Ji-Min didn’t have time to entertain his friend’s complaints. He nudged Tae-Hyung’s shoulder and said, "No excuses. I’ve got so much to do today, and we can’t be late. Get up!" He smiled, knowing his friend would ultimately give in. Tae-Hyung yawned and slowly sat up, stretching his arms above his head.

Ji-Min paused, glancing over at the clock. Time was ticking faster than he liked. There was so much to prepare for—the grooming, the training on Tae-Hyung’s confession lines for Jung-Kook—but the most important task was getting his best friend ready for the big day. Tae-Hyung was finally going to confess to Jung-Kook, and Ji-Min was determined to make sure everything went smoothly.

Before Ji-Min could say anything else, his phone rang. He glanced down at the screen and saw Jung-Kook’s name flash across it. His quickly answered with a wide grin.

"Hi, Jung-Kook hyung!" Ji-Min greeted enthusiastically.

"Hey, Ji-Min, you're up so early. It’s Sunday," Jung-Kook said, his voice amused. It was no secret that Ji-Min wasn’t exactly a morning person, and this early wake-up call likely caught him by surprise.

"I’m up because we’re meeting, remember? I’ll see you at the park in two hours," Ji-Min replied, his excitement evident in his tone.

"Okay, I’ll be there. I also need to tell you something important," Jung-Kook said, his voice suddenly more serious.

Ji-Min felt his pulse quicken. What could it be? The entire one month, Ji-Min mostly spend his tuition time, talking about his life and his best friend—praising Tae-Hyung, talking about qualities.

"Okay, hyung. I need to go now," Ji-Min said quickly, glancing toward the bathroom where he could hear the sound of running water.

"See you soon," Jung-Kook replied, and Ji-Min ended the call and scrolled the internet to find some suitable lines for confession.

Once he found the perfect lines, Ji-Min turned, ready to call out to Tae-Hyung, but he froze, eyes widening in surprise. Tae-Hyung had just stepped out of the bathroom, his damp hair sticking in tousled waves around his face. Water droplets glistened on his neck, and his eyes, still a little sleepy, were wide and doe-like, as he stands in the new clothes. In that moment, he looked almost ethereal, his features soft yet strikingly handsome. Ji-Min couldn’t help the surprised yelp that escaped his lips.

"Why are you screaming?" Tae-Hyung asked, clearly confused as he looked at Ji-Min.

Ji-Min stood there for a moment, blinking rapidly. He had seen Tae-Hyung countless times, but something about him this morning—his messy hair and the soft glow of his damp skin—made him look otherworldly. "You look absolutely gorgeous," Ji-Min said before he could stop himself, his voice light and teasing. "If you weren’t my best friend, I’d have fallen in love with you."

Tae-Hyung’s face immediately flushed bright red. He rolled his eyes but gave Ji-Min a playful nudge with his elbow. "Stop joking," he muttered, his voice slightly shy despite his attempt to sound casual.

Ji-Min chuckled, his heart swelling with affection for his best friend. "Come on, let’s get you ready now. I’ve got a lot to do, and we don’t have time to waste."

He guided Tae-Hyung to sit in front of the full-length mirror, positioning him so he could work quickly. Ji-Min pulled a hair dryer from the counter and began drying Tae-Hyung’s hair. The sound of the dryer filled the quiet room as Ji-Min skillfully worked the device through Tae-Hyung’s hair, the soft strands shifting with each movement.

Once Tae-Hyung’s hair was dry, Ji-Min moved on to the next step. He grabbed his makeup bag and started carefully applying makeup to his friend’s face. Ji-Min was meticulous, knowing that the smallest details could make a huge difference. He applied a soft foundation to even out Tae-Hyung’s smooth skin, followed by a light dusting of powder to set it. Ji-Min’s fingers worked expertly as he added just a touch of blush, making Tae-Hyung’s cheeks look subtly flushed.

Then came the eyes—Ji-Min applied a delicate shade of brown eyeshadow to bring out Tae-Hyung’s almond-shaped eyes, making them appear even more captivating. Next was the pink strawberry lip balm, which Ji-Min gently rubbed onto Tae-Hyung’s lips, leaving them soft and subtly tinted.

Finally, Ji-Min reached for a pair of long, dangling earrings and a simple silver chain of his, adding them as the finishing touches. The earrings caught the light, sparkling with every small movement Tae-Hyung made.

"Perfect," Ji-Min said with a satisfied smile, stepping back to admire his work. "You’re dead drop gorgeous."

Tae-Hyung looked at his reflection in the mirror, his eyes widening slightly as he took in the transformation. The shy smile that spread across his face was enough to make Ji-Min’s happy.

"Shut up," Tae-Hyung said, his voice soft but affectionate. "Now, let’s go. I need to eat something."

Ji-Min laughed, nodding his head. "Yeah, me too."

Together, they made their way to the kitchen, where Ji-Min’s mother was already preparing breakfast. The warm scent of cooked food filled the air, and Ji-Min’s stomach growled in anticipation. Tae-Hyung smiled as he entered, his usual shy demeanor replaced by a quiet confidence.

"Good morning, boys," Ji-Min’s mother greeted them with a smile. "Wow, Tae-Hyung you're looking so beautiful ."

Tae-Hyung beamed, smiling shyly. "Thank you, aunty. It was all Ji-Min's work," he replied, settling at the table.

Ji-Min looked over at his best friend, the excitement building inside him. Today was a big day. And with everything ready, there was nothing left to do but enjoy the moment and prepare for what lay ahead.
