Two Days Later. . .
The entire group had long left Ordial by now — all of them heading together in a carriage that Avid managed to get for them from the Mercenary Guild, so that they may have a fast way to reach the Holy Capital. Right now, everyone was on the road — Avid and Neola were on the front, controlling the horses that pulled the carriage while everyone else was inside the carriage, sitting in mostly silence.
Hipsha was reading a book, Dala was napping, the two Gorgan Sisters were at Hipshas side, also seemingly reading the book he was reading and Dreoda was sat the closest to Neola and Avid, his back pressed against the front, while his arms were crossed.
It has been a pretty uneventful and peaceful two days for the entire group so far, with no big things happening. They haven't encountered any dangers or obstacles in their path so far in their journey — which was mainly due to Avid using his knowledge and information to avoid areas that may have a big chance of danger in them.
So far, they have managed to use that to remain on a smooth path, that even avoided any major cuts through forests or woods where it would otherwise be very easy to get lost in.
As the carriage moved forward, Avid and Neola laughed together while talking.
"And then, when I finally got back home to see what was happening, it turned out that all that happened with Hipsha was that he was simply hiding from a small, small mouse that happened to wander into the house and scare him half to death."
Neola finished, before bursting into a light laughter, while Avid cracked a little chuckle. For these past two days now, whenever they were on the road, the two of them would simply share some stories and funny things they had encountered or done during their adventures for the last nine years now.
In fact, they had been talking and sharing so much, that Dreoda was occasionally throwing annoyed gazes at the two of them, trying to hint to them that he was slowly getting a bit irritated by them, however the duo didn't take notice — or at least, Avid didn't.
Neola did notice, however decided to just keep talking and laughing with Avid just to mess with Dreoda.
Time went on and eventually the group stopped their carriage at a small river, just off of the road that they were on. Avid had decided to give the horses a bit of a rest for a while, before they resumed their journey forward, and so had decided to stop by this small river to allow the animals to recuperate.
"How much longer till we get to our next destination?"
Asked Dreoda as he approached Avid, who was helping the horses drink from the river. Avid looked at the man, before looking back at the river.
"We're around 5 days away from Yiinao now. 3 if we decide to not rest for two nights."
Avid replied, before standing up and patting the side of one of the horses lightly and then turning to look at Dreoda again.
"However, since we're trying to reach a Teleportation altar that can take us to Yiinao instantly, then technically we have around a day left before we arrive in Yiinao."
He finished, before taking the leads on the horses and guiding the horses to come with him back to the carriage. Dreoda watched him leave for a second, before exhaling and quickly flipping around, catching up to him and walking beside the man.
"So.. I wanted to know. What's the deal between you and Neola — My sister?"
He asked.
Avid looked at Dreoda with a slightly confused expression, his left eyebrow slightly raised, before looking away.
