Kaiya was getting the stuff prepped for the practice game today against Karasuno, her brother's school..

But he gave up on playing due to the fact that he lost all love for the sport when he couldn't make it through the wall of blockers. She was upset that he quit due to the fact she was recently injured so badly she wasn't able to play for a year.

Someone walking into the training office caught her attention but she sighed before talking."The training room is closed for now due to the volleyball game today-" She started saying but a certain annoying voice cut her off.

"Kaiya, don't you think its unfair for the other team due to us having such a pretty trainer?" The annoying voice said and Kaiya put a water bottle down and turned to see the dark brown hair and brown eyes of Oikawa.

"Well CAPTAIN, don't you think you'll cause enough trouble on the court?" Kaiya snapped at him while she tended back to her water bottles.

"Hmm, true, but I can't help noticing that you're working very hard over here. We better appreciate how lucky they are to have you." Oikawa said as he walked over to sit down in the chair next to her station.

"By the way, if you're giving out trainer tips, I'd love to hear them. My serves are already great, but there's always room for improvement, right?" Oikawa commented and she scoffed as she put down her finished water bottle.

She crossed her arms and leaned back against the small counter. "Your serves, huh? If you need tips from me, maybe they're not as perfect as you like to brag." She teased him and he acted offended.

"My serves are flawless—it's just that I'm a perpetual learner, always striving for greatness." He said while acting like she hurt his feelings and she rolled her eyes at his antics.

"Sounds like you're just fishing for compliments. Shouldn't you be focusing on getting prepared for the game instead of chatting me up?" She said and he smirked softly.

"Oh, they'll be fine. Besides, I can multitask. Crushing Karasuno and charming my trainer? No problem at all." He said with a playful wink and Kaiya made a disgusted face.

"You're unbelievable." She groaned as she started prepping her med bag.

"Unbelievably good at making people smile, you mean. I'll take it." He said while leaning back and stretching his arms.

"If by 'smile' you mean rolling their eyes, then yeah, you've got that talent perfected." She laughed slightly and he chuckled along with her.

She finished her med bag and grabbed the water while beginning to walk out the training room.

"Wait don't leave me here!" He whisper/shouted at her as she opened the door. She turned to him confused.

"What are you even doing? Shouldn't you be out on the court with your team?" She questioned him and he cringed slightly.

"If Coach finds me, I'm dead! I just needed a little breather from all the yelling." He said and Kaiya rolled her eyes at him.

"So your brilliant plan is to hide... here? In the trainer's room? Very sneaky, Oikawa." She said while putting the water on her hip.

"Exactly! No one would think to look for me here. But if you leave, it's just me and the cold, silent walls. How cruel!" He acted like her was dying and she cocked a brown while frowning slightly.

"And what do you expect me to do? Cover for you while you slack off?" She asked and he looked at her dumbfounded.

"Slack off? Kaiya, I'm recharging my genius! Don't you trainers always say rest is important for peak performance?" He said with pleading eyes.
