♥25♥ Summer Romance Part 4

The little light from Kasamatsu's cell phone gave Shiki little security within the dark confinement that they were trapped in.

"Do your teammates know about this?" When she shook her head at his question, he cursed at himself for asking that question; Shiki and himself were similar people, they were leaders of their respective team and they know full well that the leader showing signs of weakness can affect those around them. In order not to lose to weakness and make the team stay intact, they put aside their own weaknesses and focus on leading. 

"I can't let them worry about me." 

"In here, you don't have to hold back." 

"I know." She felt comfort within his hold. Being in Kasamatsu's hold was much safer than being in Sano's hold. "It's embarrassing to be scared of something like elevator in the dark..." 

"Don't be." 

"I thought everything would be fine from the moment I was freed from that tiny, rundown shed. It wasn't the same, I get panic attacks when I am trapped in the dark with no lights." She looked down in shame but the tiny squeeze on her hand reminded her it was okay and she can be at ease with it. "It's even worse when the place is small too." 

Kasamatsu simply listened. At a time like this, Shiki needed someone to listen to her words without advises being given. 

"Hey, Kasamatsu?" 

"Yeah?" 

"You called me 'Shiki'." 

"Eh?! I did?!" 

"You did." 

"Oh crap..." He was blushing like mad now. He called her by her given name to get her attention before! He didn't mean to do so without her permission! Will she be angry? Will she reprimand him?

"Don't worry about it. I don't mind if it's you..." 

"R-really?" 

"You're really bad with girls. Please don't tell me I am the only girl who you call by their given name?" 

Silence entered between them...

"You really are hopeless..." 

"I am not hopeless! We kissed twice!" 

"Yeah, and I was the one who initiated them." 

"You..." 

"I can't believe you, you're more virgin than olive oil." Shiki tried to hold her laughter in. In doing so, Kasamatsu can feel her shaking.

Kasamatsu didn't think anything else when his lips met Shiki's. He didn't like the olive oil insult, it's already bad enough he's bad with girls so he doesn't want to be compared with something that was more virgin than himself. 

The lights flicked back on from within. 

Kasamatsu backed away to see the surprise on Shiki's face. She was blushing, a facial expression he has never seen until now. 

"Th-the lights are on..." Shiki scrambled to stand up and the two of them were unable to look at each other in the eyes. 

Even when the operator told them that help was on the way didn't help to rid the awkwardness in the air. 

"You know how to kiss for a virgin..." Shiki suddenly said. 

"R-really?" 

"Yeah..."
