"How difficult can Astronomy really be?"
"It's not hard; it's just you,"
"I don't care about star alignments!"
"Then perhaps you should reconsider your choice of subject,"
"Not an option."

I let out a heavy sigh and handed Caleb another chart on Jupiter's moons. His complaints were starting to wear thin.
"Document the key details about Jupiter's moons from this chart," I instructed, turning back to my own notes.

"Io? Who names a moon like that?" Caleb scoffed, glaring at the chart in disdain.
"Does the name really matter?" I asked, eyebrow raised.
"Of course it does," he shot back.
"Then focus on the actual material," I said, trying not to roll my eyes. As I said this, I noticed Draco observing us from the corner of the room before leaving.
"Anyway," I continued, "I expect your notes on Friday. Don't forget."

"Hello," I said as I sat down next to Draco.
"You seem comfortable," he commented without looking up from his book.
"We were just studying," I retorted, nudging Mattheo under the table.
"Right," he said, closing his book.
"Are you jealous, Malfoy?" Blaise teased from across the table.
"I don't have anything to be jealous of," Draco replied as he stood up.
"Where are you going?" I asked, feeling a strange sense of regret as he started to leave.
"I've got things to do," he said, already walking away.
As his footsteps echoed down the hallway, a weird discomfort settled in my chest. Why did his sudden departure unsettle me?

"Looks like someone's got a soft spot," Blaise commented with a smirk.
I shot him a half-hearted glare. "You're ridiculous," I muttered, feeling my cheeks warm.
"Look, Draco's not as subtle as he thinks," Blaise said, his eyes glinting. "When you give off that much intensity, it's hard to hide."
I rolled my eyes. "You don't know him."
"Right," Blaise said with a shrug. "But you definitely seem smitten."
"We're just friends," I mumbled, my thoughts scrambled.
"Of course," Blaise said, a teasing smile tugging at his lips.

The next day, I walked through the hallways, lost in thought as I headed toward Astronomy class. I hadn't seen Draco since yesterday, and something felt... off. When I entered the classroom, I saw him in the far corner, hunched over, his jaw clenched and fingers tapping restlessly. He didn't acknowledge me.

I took my seat quietly, the tension between us thick in the air. Finally, I asked, "What's wrong with you today?"
Draco hesitated before answering, "Nothing."
I raised an eyebrow. "You're acting like I've destroyed your favorite broom."
He glanced at me briefly. "I'm fine. Just got a lot on my mind."
That was the most honest response I'd gotten from him in weeks, and it only made the tension feel heavier.

"Look," I pressed, "if you keep acting all mysterious and brooding, I won't just ignore it."
Draco's gaze softened, like he was about to say something, but the professor entered just then, cutting off the moment. I shifted in my seat, trying to focus on the lesson, but my mind kept drifting back to the brief connection we'd had.
