Rain poured down on the streets of Renchard, as the sun reached its resting point to allow the moon to illuminate over the town. The sound of the shoes tapping, residents flocking to their homes, and the sound of rain drops bashing against the black tar road, acts as a song for the town, and as many run there's a black sheep amongst the scene. Dressed in a ironed suit with a blue fade at the end and a black umbrella which covers most of the somewhat emotionless face, and black shoes that slowing press against the road causing a tap sound to emit, all finished with deep black pants which display no line or scratch, it's as if this lad pays no interest to the rain and cold, and as the residents run he idlely walks through the rain.

He walks up the road and many as they run take a quick glance and remember the face of this lad, "his one of the Orchid kids", that thought lomes in the minds of all who pass by him, and many don't pay mind cause they know the consequence of engaging in conversation with an Orchid. A light filled home shines at the end of the road, it seems this must be the place this lad yerns to reach, further more he walks as slow as an old man. His mind lost in thought and his face blank as he moves towards the house.

A young girl patiently watches his arrival towards the house, through the glass of the closed window as rain beats against it. It's hard for her to keep track of him as the rain pours up her vision till all she sees is a black figure moving slowly towards her. "Big brother, his here!! His here!!" The young girl shouts euphoricly as if she has been waiting for him her entire life. A tall lad with square glasses and a office uniform quickly rushes to the window where the young girl resides. He rests his hand along the frames of the window and his face twist into an anxious state, as if he's worried about what he might think once they meet. "Hillard" the name invades his head as he sternly watches as Hillard walks towards the house. Another teen girl sits on a sofa right across the window as she reads Maggie's miracle, her heart pumps faster than usual, she feels happy but somewhat sad, is this what they call bittersweet. Her head rises and her eyes meet with the light yellow bulb above the room which casts light across the entire scene. Her hands cover her face as she sighs softly, "Hillard you idiot, why did you have to leave" she whispers into her hands and releases the hold on her face to reveal her tear filled expression. Hillard makes his way to the door but before he could open it the young girl jumps off the high ground of the window and opens the doors before him. Her face presses against his thighs and her arms around his legs as he stands dumbfounded with his hand still frozen in the air. "Big brother! You made it back!" The young girl shouts as her face rises to meet his eyes, as the rain hits the black umbrella right behind Hillard, the cold, the wind and the rain, none bothers the two as they hug right outside the door. He kneels down to her level of hieght to give off a smile as he pats her head. "Look at you, all grown up, did u miss me Jessy" "Big brother Howard said I had to be strong, and Big sister Rachel said you wanted me to be happy for you" the two conversate as Howard slowly moves towards them "I suggest you two come inside, wouldn't want you to catch a cold on your arrival home" Howard has always been the cautious type, even after 5 years of not seeing his big brother he still worries. Jessy runs upstairs towards Rachel "Big sis, big brother Hillard is here, he looks just like you said he would" for Jessy this is like the first time she's ever seen Hillard, the last time they met she was only 2 years old, and since he left, all she heard was stories about him, and ever since she heard she had another big brother her mind came up with all kinds of fun games they would play once they met. "I know" Rachel said as she slowly wipes her tears away, in Jessy's head she's confused, why would someone cry in a time of joy "This must be tears of joy" Jessy concludes in her head. They all meet at the door and prepare for a reunion as the rain continuesly pours downs against the house, and for Hillard, deep down he feels right at home, it's joy in the rain.
