[The next morning]

You woke up to your phone ringing. You picked up and it was Sally

"Y/N WHERE ARE YOU?"
You were still sleepy, not understanding anything.
"Hmm..? Why are you yelling.."
Sally replied "Did you look at the time?! You missed the first two hours!"

You quickly looked at the time and realized that you overslept.

"Oh shoot I forgot to set the alarm before going to sleep!"
You stood up "Sally I gotta get ready See you at school!"

You hung up and quickly got ready and rushed out of the house to the bus station.

*This never happened before, how did I forget about the alarm?* you thought to yourself.

[23 minutes later at school]

You arrived 7 minutes late to the next class.
"Excuse me sir, I overslept" you said to your teacher and sat down.

Sally whispered "you had me worried, you never came late. I thought you were sick or something"
You apologized "Sorry, idk how but I forgot to set my alarm yesterday."

You looked over to deans empty seat and asked Sally "Did Dean come to school today?"
She shook her head "Nope."
"Hm I see."

*where is he ?* you thought.

The next hour began and suddenly the classroom door knocked. You looked over to see Dean enter the room. He had dark circles around his eyes, he looked extremely pale as well.

"Looks like he didn't sleep" you whispered to Sally.
"For real, he looks like a ghost.He is barely holding onto life." she chuckled.

*Kinda funny I overslept and he didn't get any sleep*

He quietly sat down and supported his head with a hand, he looked like he was gonna fall asleep any second now.

[30 minutes later]

The class had ended and it was time for break again. You and Sally got up and were on your way to your spot. Suddenly someone grabbed your arm tightly and you pulled back in pain.

"Ouch! What's your deal ?!"
Dean chuckled
"What freak? Was I to rough on your fragile little self?"
You replied "Why did you even do that ?"
He looked at you blank in the face and said
"Because I felt like it ?"

You couldn't believe it he looked so tiered and still found a way to mess with you.

You replied "Well I don't get to punch you when I feel like it do I ?"
Dean had a smug grin on his face "Aw is the nice act already crumbling?"
You rolled your eyes "It's not an act."
He looked annoyed from that statement "Yeah, sure." He said.

As he walked past you he shoved you out of the way.

"What was that about?"
Sally shrugged "Who knows, but don't let him get to you."
You nodded and you both sat down at your break spot.

[Break ended]

You and sally made your way back to school, as y'all did you saw Dean pass by with the mean guys from your class.

Immediately you said "Psst sally look."
Sally replied "Oh no, why is he with those guys?"

You felt your heart drop at the sight. Was he actually just a rude guy ? You didn't know Dean at all but he never gave you the vibe of him enjoying it when he made snarky comments or pushed past you.
