The dojo "Hey Miguel, you don't happen to have any friends that wanna learn karate do you?" Johnny says coming from the back holding some papers in his hand. "What am I kidding you don't have any friends. Isabel what about you?"
"Well yesterday we were hanging out with these 2 boys but they're kinda like Miguel so it might be a bit of a lost cause with those two." Isabel said while still punching the dummy in front of her.
"Hey sensei, when are we gonna learn to do some kicking? Because I was watching a YouTube video of a guy breaking some boards and it looks badass!" Miguel cuts in while weakly kicking the air
"Yeah no shit, kicking is badass but you guys aren't ready." Johnny looks at Isabel and Miguel "..well one of you isn't ready." Miguel throws his hands up in protest at this comment "besides if we don't get more students in here I'm not gonna be able to teach you anything."
"Well you thought advertising right?" Miguel proclaimed in annoyance
"Yeah duh. Of course."
School "Cyberbullying is no laughing matter. Sending a cruel message to someone online can be just as hurtful as saying it to their face. I'm not going to name names but the other day a mother called me up because her son was crying because some kids online made fun of a kids facial deformity." Councillor Blat announced through her microphone
Isabel rolled her eyes at this stupid announcement "wow! Great to not make it obvious" Isabel blurted. She heard all the murmurs around the table. Talking about Eli's lip. She wouldn't be able to stand that, people constantly talking about you behind your back.
"But today, our goal here is to make this school a safe space for all students" councillor blat started again
"You know if you're sick of getting bullied our karate dojo is looking for new recruits" Miguel turned to Eli
"You hear that Eli? A little karate training and your gonna kick some major ass." Demetri declared sarcastically while waving his hands around in little 'karate chop' positions
"I'm serious demetri, he's the real deal and I'm sure I could get you both discounts."
"as enticing as that sounds I think we'd rather spend our afternoons playing crucible control than getting hit on the face."
The dojo "Hey sensei you told us to be here at five right?" Isabel asked Johnny
"Yeah but training's cancelled." He says bluntly
"What? Why?" Miguel protests
"Because I said so."
"Sensei there's something we wanna show you." Miguel reaches into his backpack to grab his laptop
