Author's Note:
Welcome to a sleepover! As the storm begins to brew, so will the romantic tension, are you ready to embark on another adventure?

Be prepared! It's going to be a long one! After all, I feel like my previous chapters were too short for a reality getaway.

Let me know in the comments if you prefer shorter chapters, or longer chapters.

Note: Ein's Phoenix Drop High persona leaked out a bit in this chapter!

The morning sun bathed (Y/n)'s cabin in a soft, golden glow. The dark wood of her home contrasted beautifully with the white accents lining the window frames and porch. Her grey wolf lounged lazily at her feet, its fur warm under the summer rays. (Y/n) ran her hand along the smooth railing, her (eye color) eyes flicking up to a few dark clouds gathering on the horizon. A storm brewing? She shrugged off the thought, taking a deep breath of the warm, earthy air.

The sound of quick footsteps pulled her attention, and she turned to see Aphmau jogging down the path. The black-haired girl waved energetically, her signature purple coat flapping with each step.

"(Y/n)!" Aphmau called, her caramel eyes shining. "I have an idea, and I need you to say yes!"

(Y/n) tilted her head, intrigued. "What kind of idea?"

"A sleepover!" Aphmau stopped just short of the porch, catching her breath. "It's been ages since we all did something fun together, and what better way than a sleepover at my place? Everyone's invited!"

(Y/n) smiled softly. "Sounds fun. What time?"

"Around the afternoon! Oh, and you have to bring that sleeping bag of yours—no sleeping in the trees." Aphmau fished an invitation from her pocket and handed it over. "Just in case you forget."

(Y/n) took the card, glancing briefly at the colorful writing before tucking it into her inventory. "Thanks. I'll be there."

Aphmau grinned and turned to leave, her excitement contagious. "Don't be late! And don't let Zane talk you out of it. You know he hates social things."

As she disappeared down the path, (Y/n)'s wolf let out a soft whine, nudging her leg. "You'll be fine without me for one night," (Y/n) murmured, scratching behind its ears. She couldn't help but notice the little doodles of hearts Aphmau had drawn on the invitation—but the significance didn't quite register.

(Y/n) made her preparations, double-checking her inventory. Her wolf had been fed, her garden watered, and her sleeping bag rolled tightly into her bag. The path to Aphmau's house wound through the hub, lined with wildflowers and grazing animals.
Halfway there, she heard the crunch of gravel behind her. Turning, she saw Zane catching up, his hands in the pockets of his striped hoodie.

"You're going too, huh?" he asked, his tone carefully neutral.

"Aphmau was... persistent," (Y/n) replied, smiling faintly.

"She usually is," Zane muttered. He matched her pace, glancing at the invitation in her hand. His sharp blue eyes narrowed. "Do you always get heart doodles on your invites, or is this a special occasion?"

(Y/n) blinked, then looked down at the card. The little hearts stood out suddenly, as if glowing under Zane's scrutiny. She chuckled awkwardly. "Probably just Aphmau being... Aphmau."
