After dinner, the girls gathered around the low wooden table in their sanctuary, its surface illuminated by the flickering light of enchanted candles. The air smelled faintly of herbs and freshly baked bread, but a sense of quiet anticipation hung over them.
Lalisa leaned back against her chair, her piercing gaze fixed on the map of the university sprawled across the table. "Tomorrow, everything changes," she murmured, her voice steady but laced with an undertone of caution. She traced a finger along the map, stopping at the central courtyard. "We must tread carefully."
Jisso nodded, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Our identities stay hidden. No mistakes." Her voice was resolute, but there was a flicker of unease in her eyes.
Rose sat cross-legged on the floor, her arms resting on the edge of the table. "Minimal attention," she said, echoing their earlier discussions, though her usual light-hearted tone was absent. "It's strange, isn't it? How nervous this feels after everything we've been through."
Jennie, sitting beside her, folded her arms and smirked faintly. "We've faced gods, demons, and everything in between. A university full of spoiled royals and overconfident demigods should be easy."
But even as she spoke, her hand tightened slightly against her arm. The unspoken tension among them was undeniable. They were powerful beyond measure, yet stepping into the unknown always came with risks-especially when the unknown was filled with those who might recognize the fragments of their pasts.
Lalisa rolled up the map and met each of their gazes. "It won't be easy. But we've faced worse." Her voice softened as she added, "Together, we'll be fine."
The girls exchanged glances, their silent bond of trust reaffirming itself. No matter what awaited them at the university, they knew they could rely on one another.
As the night deepened, they retreated to their rooms to prepare for the day ahead. Jennie stood by her window, staring out into the star-dappled sky. The memory of her younger self-the lonely girl in the cold halls of her family's estate-flashed through her mind. She thought of the people she had now, the bonds that gave her strength. This time, I won't let anything take that away.
Rose, sitting at her desk, carefully packed a small vial of enchanted seeds into her bag. She glanced at the empty beds of her friends through the open doorways and smiled softly. Wherever we go, this will always be home.
Jisso knelt by her bedside, her fingers tracing the edge of her blade before slipping it into its sheath. The weight of the weapon was familiar and grounding. She thought of her brother and the betrayals that had shaped her. No one will control my fate again.
Lalisa sat cross-legged on her bed, eyes closed in quiet meditation. Her aura pulsed faintly, a reminder of the power she still hadn't fully unlocked. Her thoughts flickered to the university, the unknown faces she would encounter, and the secrets she had to guard. They won't see who we truly are. Not yet.
As the first light of dawn began to creep through the enchanted forest, the girls emerged from their rooms one by one, clad in the crisp uniforms of the university.
Their attire was striking yet subtly elegant, blending simplicity with grandeur. The black jackets were adorned with intricate gold embroidery, resembling the pattern of the enchanted forest itself-delicate vines and flora entwined into ornate shapes. A deep crimson bow sat just below the high collars, accentuating the elegance of the design. Beneath the jackets, pleated white skirts flowed softly, the hems embroidered with golden thread that shimmered faintly in the morning light. Each girl wore the uniform with quiet pride, their identities concealed, their presence commanding without effort.
They adjusted their masks, which were crafted to complement the ensemble-a polished black finish with subtle gold accents that added an air of mystery.
Lalisa glanced at her friends and nodded. "Let's go." Her voice was steady, carrying the weight of a leader who knew the road ahead would be perilous but was ready to face it head-on.
Together, they stepped out of their sanctuary, the enchanted forest fading behind them as they ventured toward the next chapter of their lives.
The girls stood at the edge of the enchanted forest, ready to begin their journey. Lalisa turned to face her friends, her expression calm but unwavering. "This is it," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Let's make our entrance."Without another word, she raised her hand, her fingers tracing a glowing sigil in the air. The world around them seemed to bend, the air humming with magic as a portal of swirling crimson and gold opened before her. In an instant, she stepped through, her figure enveloped in a breathtaking light. It was as though the very heavens themselves had parted for her-fiery reds and golds coiling around her like a blazing comet.
Jennie followed next, her teleportation marked by a soft, silvery glow that sparkled like starlight. The air around her shimmered, delicate threads of magic wrapping around her like a veil of mist, and with a fluid motion, she was gone-leaving only the faintest trail of light behind.
Rose's teleportation was an explosion of midnight blue and violet, a burst of energy that left a ripple in the air, as if the night itself had chosen to follow her. The shadows stretched in her wake, merging with the light and vanishing just as swiftly.
Jisso's arrival was softer yet no less mesmerizing. A gentle rose-gold glow surrounded her, as if the morning sun had embraced her with its warmth. Her light was quiet, elegant, and serene, a beautiful contrast to the dazzling flashes of her friends.
One by one, they appeared at the gates of the university, each step through the portal leaving an afterglow of ethereal beauty, like the sky at the brink of dawn. The students who were milling around outside, unaware of the spectacle about to unfold, froze as they saw the sudden light.
Whispers rippled through the crowd, hushed but full of wonder. "Who are they? Are they... royalty?" one student whispered, eyes wide with envy.
"I don't think I've ever seen anyone teleport like that," another murmured, scratching their head in confusion.
"They're... they're like gods, aren't they?" A third voice, uncertain, but awestruck. As the girls slowly walked toward the gates, their movements poised and synchronized, the whispers only grew louder. Some students gawked in open jealousy, clearly fascinated by their beauty and grace. Others exchanged puzzled glances, wondering how anyone could arrive so effortlessly, almost as if they had stepped straight out of a dream.
The girls, on the other hand, fought to suppress their smiles. Jennie rolled her eyes at the attention, muttering under her breath, "So much for keeping a low profile." Her tone was dry, but a hint of amusement tugged at her lips.
Rose, always the more playful one, raised an eyebrow and whispered to the others, "Well, at least we didn't completely blend in."
Jisso, though normally more serious, allowed herself a small, knowing smirk. "We'll have to adjust our strategy," she mused aloud. "Maybe teleporting in style wasn't the best choice."
Lalisa, unfazed as ever, walked with deliberate grace, her eyes scanning the path ahead. "Let them look," she said coolly. "They'll get used to it." But deep inside, even she couldn't help but find a bit of irony in how their attempt to remain unnoticed had instead made them the center of attention.
The girls walked past the gates, their faces concealed behind their masks, yet each of them couldn't escape the growing sense that this university-filled with royals, demigods, and other powerful beings-was about to become far more complicated than any of them had imagined.
(The uniforms are like the one in the picture above,Wahh too long chapter anyways enjoy)
