Duskkit wandered through the sun-dappled clearing, his eyes wide with curiosity. The world around him was filled with the sounds of rustling leaves and playful chatter from his friends, Hawkkit, Moonkit, and Flarekit. They were pretending to hunt, darting between the ferns and pouncing on imaginary prey, their laughter echoing through the trees.

"Duskkit, Duskkit..." a soft voice murmured, cutting through the chaos of play.

He paused, his heart racing. The voice was familiar, echoing in his mind like a distant memory. He found found a warm rock and laid on it, closing his eyes. "Dovestar?" he whispered.

Suddenly, a shimmering figure appeared before him, ethereal and radiant. Dovestar stood in a gentle glow, her eyes warm but filled with a depth of wisdom that made Duskkit's heart swell. "I am here, Duskkit," she said, her voice like a breeze through the leaves. "I have come to warn you."

"Why do you keep visiting me?" he asked, his voice trembling with both awe and confusion. "I'm just a kit. I can't do anything important."

"Do not underestimate yourself," Dovestar replied, her gaze steady. "Every great warrior was once a kit. Your heart is strong, and you must not let others' words define you."

"Falconstar thinks we're worthless," Duskkit said, frustration creeping into his voice. "He doesn't see us as anything but distractions."

Dovestar's expression softened. "Falconstar has his own burdens, Duskkit. Falconstar haven't experience having kits before, he will never understand, especially after the heartbreak he had. You are learning every day, even in play."

"Playing is part of learning," Dovestar continued gently. "It teaches you agility, creativity, and teamwork. These skills will serve you well when the time comes. Trust in your journey."

As her words washed over him, Duskkit felt a flicker of determination ignite within him. "I want to be strong like you, Dovestar. I want to protect ShellClan."

"Then embrace your path, Duskkit," she encouraged. "Strength comes in many forms. Be brave, be kind, and remember that your spirit is what will inspire others."

Before he could respond, the shimmering figure began to fade, the forest around him returning to its vibrant reality. "Wait!" he called out, but Dovestar's voice lingered in the air like a sweet memory. "I will always be with you, Duskkit. Trust yourself, and claw and blood would shed, stop it, you must do it or else......."

"Wait! Dovestar!" He felt lost but determined.

Dazed but inspired, Duskkit opened his eyes, padding to join his friends.

"Where have you been?" Hawkkit asked, tilting his head.

"I was just on the rock," Duskkit replied, his tail pointed to the rock, "enjoying the weather."

The kits bounded to a play fight, enjoying the bond of friendship and the times of kithood (childhood).
