The scribbled "NO" over Frankie's face makes me wonder: what happened between them? Did Henry's insanity push them to the point of not being friends anymore? Because the devs did answer a question that asked "What is Henry Hotline's main purpose?"

The devs didn't necessarily answer that well, and they did say, "He's Frankie's best friend," but they didn't tell us his main purpose unless him being Frankie's best friend is his purpose.
Honestly, I think there's a much deeper thing going on between Frankie and Henry more than there is for the show itself because why would the devs continuously hint in-game of their relationship? I mean, the picture of Frankie's face scratched out with "NO" and Henry begging Real Frankie to spare him after his own chase does not seem like it's a small issue. There has to be something more going on between them, and I strive to figure it out.
The devs even admitted that Frankie and Henry's relationship is complicated.
