Enemies to Lovers (incomplete yet but enjoy)

Part 10: The failed mission

The Avengers went to go take Red Skull out for good. They got up and left. Tony drove to the secret base Red Skull supossingly has now, they had to hurry up cuz they all know how unpredictable Red Skull can be. They had to stop him before he'd rebuild HYDRA cuz that'd be horrible. They'd be all fucked probably...

They finally arrived at the base and they busted into the base and fought some guards and killed some, some had guns, some had knives or daggers, and some just didnt have anything and were just fighting in combat. It was going fine, they almost took out all of the HYDRA guards. But really unfortunatly they forgot Bucky still can go Winter Soldier mode when the trigger words were to be said... 

Red Skull simply said the words with a sick smirk cuz he knows them like the back of his head and it made Buckys eyes widen for a moment but he was too late to realize what Red Skull said and he went into the Winter Soldier mode and Red Skull told Bucky to kill the avengers... Steve barely got out alive, Natasha and Clint backed up, Tony got slammed into the wall and his suit kinda broke which made his metal suit dig into his skin making Tony bleed and unable to move without getting even more hurt.

Red Skull told Bucky to follow him and they both left somewhere. Steve wanted to call out to Bucky but Bucky just gave him those emotionless narrowed eyes and turned back to Red Skull and followed him out. Fucking damnit... How could they forget Bucky can still get controlled?!

Steve: "no no no no no no no......"

Natasha: "it's gonna be okay Steve... we'll get him back..."

Bruce and Loki had to help Tony get up but Loki pushed Bruce away and got Tony out of the suit and left the suit on the ground and held Tony, bridal style, and they started to leave. They would have to think of something to get Bucky back... Loki got Tony into the infirmary in the meantime and sat down next to the bed on a chair as Bruce, the Doctor, treated Tonys wounds, they were all deep cuz the metal suit was sharp... But Bruce fixed Tony up and told him he'll have to stay in bed for maybe 2 days so he'll heal up. 

The next morning Loki came over to ask how Tony felt, and also to bring Tony something to eat and drink. Loki put the plate on Tonys knees as Tony was sat on the bed. Tony peacefully ate, wincing from time to time cuz moving still hurt a bit.

Steve was still worried about Buck, he felt like it was his fault Bucky got taken. Steve was supossed to be the one to remember Bucky still could have the trigger words used on him. But Steve forgot, he feels like it's all his fault... Wanda came over and heard his thoughts and put a hand on his shoulder.

Wanda: "it's not your fault."

Steve: "he's MY friend tho... I know him the best yet I forgot about that one part... I was supossed to remember it and tell you guys... it IS my fault..."

Wanda: "no it's not, and besides, we'll get him back. You got him back one time we'll get him out TOGETHER this second time. Together we'll be stronger too."

Steve: "... yea... I guess you're right. we'll get him back!"

Wanda smiled a bit cuz she cheered Steve up a bit.

Wanda: "that's the Steve I know."

Steve smiled a bit too, he felt a bit better knowing the others were there for him and that they'll get Bucky back.
