Part 12: a small change

The next morning Loki woke up and felt a tiny bit weird, like something was wrong. He got up to the kitchen to get himself something to drink and Clint was in the living room ticking his ring against the table quietly. Usually Loki would ignore it but today it pissed him off.

He took a breath to maybe calm down but that didnt work and he kinda snapped.

Loki: "can you stop your idiotic ticking?!?!"

Clint stopped ticking and looked over at Loki in shock. Was that a little bit of blue on Lokis face when he yelled or was Clint seeing things?

Sure, Frost Giants are usually blue but Loki was never blue before. Which is weird because he IS a Frost Giant. But the mind control might've messed up Lokis mind and genetics a bit.

After a long while Tony woke up and went to the kitchen, Loki didnt look pissed off anymore.

Tony: "morning Lokes."

Loki: "sup, how'd ya sleep?"

Tony: "it was fine. Not too bad."

Clint started subconciously ticking again and Loki clenched his fists and Tony noticeda bit of blue appear on Lokis face so Tony grabbed his arm and pulled Loki to force him to look at him.

That seemed to distract Loki enough to make the bit of blue go away which calmed Tony down too. And the fact Clint didnt even know he was ticking while scrolling through his phone wasnt helping.

The day went by pretty fine. Fury send all of the avengers to kill Red Skull again. This time Bucky had to stay at The Tower, he wasnt allowed to help with the HYDRA stuff anymore.

The avengers got tot he base and killed a couple of HYDRA guards. Tony wanted to attack Red Skull but Red Skull grabbed Tony by his throat before he could even reach Red Skull, he caught Tony mid-air and the threw him across the base making Tonys suit break and loosen up a bit, kinda like springlocks and the loose metal dug into his skin a bit making it hurt ALOT and making Tony bleed. And of course, Tony passed out from the pain and bleeding.

Loki stood by the side and saw Tonys condition and he got furious. The right half of Lokis face turned blue and on the same side his right eye turned a dark shade of red (Loki has turquoise eyes in my AU btw).

Loki used his magic to slam Red Skull into the wall and beat the hell out of him so he couldnt move. And just as Loki was about to throw the last punch Steve ran over, his eyes were cautious but he calmly asked if he can do the last blow himself.

Loki of course agreed and Steve kicked Red Skull in the face making him die from blood loss by now. Loki went over to Tony but when he touched the bit of suit where he touced and a bit around it turned white/baby blue-ish from turning into a freezing temperature making Loki let go immediatly and ask Bruce for help.

Bruce saw the damage on Tony and winced a bit. Bruce also noticed where Loki touched was now below -10 degrees and he gasped. He also noticed the obvious half blue and red eye on the right side of Lokis face and told Loki to maybe calm down a bit.

Once Loki took a few deep breaths he calmed down and the blue of his face was gone and the red eye turned back to its normal turquoise colour.

Loki carefully put a hand on Tonys suit again and this time it didnt freeze and he immediatly picked Tony up.

Loki: "come on, hurry up. we need to get Tony to the infirmary. Right fucking now before he bleeds out."

Everyone ignored the fact Loki just turned half blue on his right side of his face and that he killed Red Skull like a damn second ago and got up to run back to the tower and they got Tony to the infirmary.

Unfortunatly Tony had to go into a coma for a week... Loki was really upset and sad about it...
