From pasio, to you (Gladion x OC)

Prologue

"So are you excited about going to pasio?"

Gladion looked at hau. "Yeah so excited." He said, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Does that mean excitement or not?" Hau asked, confusion in his voice. Gladion rolled his eyes.

The championship tournament is a tournament located in the pasio region. Each trainer and gym leader from every region is invited to compete. Gladion and his family were invited to compete, but Gladion didn't want to.

He find that going to another region just to compete was pointless. After all he rather stay in alola than go to another region.

Right now he and hau are walking to the aether foundation. Gladion opened the front door, only to see Lillie standing there.

"Hi Gladion." Lillie greeted her older brother. "Hi Lillie." Gladion greeted back. "Mother would like to speak with you." She said. Gladion looked at her confused. What did lusamine want to say to him?

"Thank you Lillie." Gladion said as he walked away from Lillie and hau.

Gladion stood from the door of lusamine's office. He knocked on the door. "Come in." A voice said from the room. Gladion opened the door, only to see lusamine at her desk. "Hi mother." He said as he approached her.

"Hello Gladion." Lusamine said. "You must be wondering why I wanted to speak with you, correct?" She asked. Gladion nodded at her question.

"As far as you know, each trainer and gym leader from every region is going to pasio to compete in the championship tournament, correct." Lusamine said.

"I thought it would be an opportunity for us to bound as a family." She said. "And for you to get to know someone from the pasio region."

"Me? Getting to know someone? Are you kidding me!?"  Gladion lashed out. "Why would I get to know someone from a region I don't even know!?"

"But sweetie, it would be good for you to make some friends." Lusamine said. Gladion couldn't argue with her, after all lusamine was right. Gladion didn't have many friends, so him making a friend in a different region would be nice. "I guess you're right."

Lusamine smiled. "You should probably get some sleep, we are expected to leave to the airport tomorrow morning."

Gladion nodded before walking to the door. "Oh and Gladion," Gladion looked at lusamine. "Lighten up a bit, it will be fun." She said as Gladion opened the door and left.

Gladion sat down on his bed. Lillie had informed him that hau left to get ready for tomorrow as well.

'It would be boring.' He thought. 'Going to another region just to complete in some stupid tournament.'

He looked at his clock and noticed that it was getting late. He pulled the covers up and lied down. After all, he didn't want to forget something in the morning.
