A/N: Hi you guys! Thanks for the views on the first part! That's already more than I expected that I would get! This chapter however is going to be a bit shorter because I wrote this after finishing an essay for a college application (whew) so admittedly, I should have waited, but I wanted this chapter out ASAP. I also write these chapters out on my phone, as I'm not always at home, and will more than likely have my phone with me unless the battery is dead. That being said, if you spot any spelling errors, don't be afraid to point them out to me. Please continue to support my story with comments and votes. Love you guys <3

On the side: Our sexy Mr. Isaac Baldwell

Abigail twisted and turned in bed with a soft groan. This didn't feel like her bed at all, and what was with this extra weight on the right side on the bed? Rolling over, she nearly tumbled out of bed at the sight. A guy? Immediately, parts of memories of the night before flooded into her mind. "Shìt!" She cursed and scrambled out of bed, grabbing her dress tightly. As she held the fabric to her chest, she felt her stomach bubble. "Ugh..." She groaned and found her feet leading her into the bathroom. She hurriedly flipped the light switch and pushed open the toilet cover and seat, before feeling bile spill out of her. Her eyes closed with a groan, leaning against the bathroom wall as she slid down onto the floor.
Her eyes flickered open as she heard footsteps leading towards the bathroom, stopping just outside the door. "Feeling alright?" The man asked, his blue eyes radiating genuine concern.
Why? Why did he care if she was okay? "W-What?" Abby asked softly, lifting her gaze from the tiled bathroom floor to the tall man who towered over her.
"I asked if you were feeling alright." He murmured simply, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at her with a raised brow.
"Oh..." Abby mumbled absent-mindedly "Oh! Yeah, yeah, I'm totally fine! No problems here!" She did her best to assure him, though it was obvious he doubted her.
"As you like." He grunted and turned on his heel, heading to the kitchen of his apartment to make himself a cup of coffee.
Thankfully he had thrown on a pair of boxers and a robe, sparing her the embarrassment of making googly eyes at his perfectly chiseled chest.
What, did this guy just retire from the military or something?
Abby quickly pulled on her black dress and heels, as that was really the only option she had to wear at the moment.
"Do you want a cup of coffee before you go?" Isaac's voice called as Abby entered the main room of the snug apartment. "C-Coffee? Oh, no. No thank you...I mean..." Abby assured him with a nervous smile. "Great, you can leave then." His newfound tone had certainly surprised her. He was concerned not even ten minutes ago!
"Alright," Abby nodded, grabbing her purse from the couch. She wasn't even curious as to how all the contents had spilled out about ten minutes ago, "goodbye, Isaiah." She smiled lightly before getting out of there as fast as she possibly could.
"Isaac." He corrected sharply as she left and settled on the couch, running a hand through his short, dark hair. "Can't even remember my name." He grunted, closing his eyes and he switched on the television and sipped his coffee.

Abby left her home as quickly as she could. She lived in a nice, white townhouse. She had gone home quickly to shower and tend to her needs before work. Hell, she was late already, how could this day possibly get any worse? She had hardly had any time to nurse her hangover, and had brushed her teeth at least three times straight to get rid of the taste, and smell, of vomit. In the end, she could only resort to popping a piece of minty gum into her mouth.
"This is going to be a day that goes down in history as the biggest pain in my àss." Abigail concluded softly as she climbed into her car and began the long drive to work.
How was she going to explain to her boss that she'd drunk a little more than she had meant to at the party last night and ended up making the biggest mistake of her life? She wasn't. She couldn't. She should have just taken the day off as soon as she arrived back home. Still, she was the secretary of the world renowned businessman, Mr. Jasper Hart.
Her gentle eyes blinked open as she stepped out of the elevator, her black pumps clicking against the marble hallway leading to her boss's office.
"Mr. Hart?" She knocked and peeked into the office, only to see that Jasper wasn't present. "Mr. Hart?" She called once more as she stepped into the large office, walking over to his desk. Messy as always a soft sigh escaped her lips at that thought and she rolled her eyes as she got to work, organizing these files. Again. Jasper was quite the sweetheart when he wanted to be, but also a womanizer. Sitting in the leather chair behind the desk, she shook her head, finding multiple condom wrappers that had been clumsily opened. Every now and then, the man would bring in a woman and as the cliché goes, would sleep with them, loud enough for everyone on the floor to hear. With a disapproving shake of her head, she began cleaning out his drawers, pouring the contents into the small wastebasket beside the chrome and black desk.
She lifted her gaze as the door opened and her mouth immediately dropped open as two men entered the room. Jasper and the guy from the night before. How grand Abigail thought with annoyance and offered a tiny smile. "Good morning Mr. Hart." She gave a tiny smile and got to her feet, walking over to her boss.
"Good morning, Abby, this is Isaac Baldwell, our new employee, and your new boss!" Jasper smiled and nodded to Isaac who raised a curious brow.
"Hello Abby, it's a pleasure." He shrugged and gave her a tiny wink, causing Abigail to blush furiously.
"I wasn't aware that we were already on a first name basis, Mr. Baldwell" Abigail blinked, placing her hands firmly on her hips. "Mr. Hart, what do you mean? My new boss? I didn't sign up for that! I signed you to be your secretary!" She said, returning her attention back to her boss. All the while she could feel Isaac's gaze on her, and then she heard a throat clearing behind her tiny, scared form. She did not like the idea of this. Not at all.
"Well if that is the case, Abigail, the door is to your left. Or if you feel the need, there is another exit to your right." Issac murmured casually as he glanced to a curious looking Jasper.
Abigail's emerald gaze fell to her left curiously to see a window. The nerve of this guy! He was lucky she needed this job, and it paid well. Because the way things were going now, she was going to have an absolutely miserable time working for this Isaac Baldwell. And if he continued to crack insensitive jokes at her like the ass he was, she was just going to have to deal with it. After all, this was her dream job.
Wasn't it?
