Just another day of bed rotting was what you had in mind. But once in a while everyone has a tiny urge to make their parents happy and obey them even if you don't want to.
Today was that day.
"Y/n wake up youre always sleeping. The lockdown is over. Go and bring some cold drinks for your uncles from the convenience store. The money is beside your bed " You heard your mom speak.
"Just a little more" Still the urge wasn't enough to get you out of the warm heaven.
"You better wake up or im confisticating your phone" When you heard your mom speak you thought maybe the urge was enough and worth it afterall.
"MOM!" you got up and stood on your bed.
"what? You never get out of your room. The nieghbours ask about you, why you never get out of the house and i always have to change the topic because how can i tell them that my daughter watches cartoons all day and screams while watching it." Your mom snapped. She wasnt wrong though. She was hundred percent correct.
But in your defence it was lockdown and well people aren't that interesting to be around.
"Mom its anime. Dont say cartoon that makes me look like a kid " You sighed getting out of the bed
"yeah whatever your uncles gave us a suprise by coming here so you better go and bring cold drinks fast" your mom said leaving your room.
"Who asked those motherfuckers to come and give suprises" you clenched your fists and hit the wall. "Fuck that hurt" you winced in pain but who else could you blame. Your uncles.
After finishing with cleaning up and getting fresh, you went downstairs and met your uncles, you greeted them then headed towards the convenience store.
"Mom im going to bring the cold drinks" you sighed
"Okay. Take your masks and dont take your bicycle. Its been a year since you last got out of your house. You might have forgotten how to use it"
"Mom!!! i wouldn't forget that" you were confident, putting your shoes on and wearing a mask.
"alright. Dont fall or injure yourself. Oh my god the nieghbours will be so suprised" your mom laughed.
"I'll be back soon" you rolled your eyes and left.
"Good day to you my child. Oh my god after a year later. I've got to tell your dad" Your mom giggled.
"Man she's overreacting" You sighed taking your bicycle out.
You tried riding it for practice since it had been a year since you last used it. Thanks to your dad, it wasnt rusty. He took care of it while you were inside your room simping over fictional characters.
