1.The beginning of suffering

My name is Natsuki Subaru,I am form earth where there is a "metahuman" (human with super power),every people in my earth have a superpower,they will get their ability check when their are 18 years old,because normaly metahuman will got their ability when they hit 18 years old Although there are some cases of metahumans gaining their powers at a younger age, they are very rare and I just turned 18 so my dad took me to check what my abilities are.

dad:"We here,are you nervous subaru?"
Subaru:"I am actually."

We saw a very large building and it was crowded with many people
When we enter the building  There are many people queuing to check their ability too,there are people who are disappointed and there are also those who are angry as if they cannot accept the power they have received, but that makes sense because in this world, power is everything,and when its my turn to check i place my hand on a Crystal ball Like the ball used by fortune tellers, then the ball shines and dims again,then suddenly there was writing on the ball that said "IMORTALLITY".

Subaru:"Imortallity?that mean i cannot die?Isn't this more like a curse? I can't die which means I will live while my loved ones die!"
Dad:"Don't be too disappointed, one day your power will help many people, I'm sure of that."
Subaru:"You right i guest"i said with sad tone.
This was the beginning of the suffering I experienced.

A Week has passed since that day.

Subaru:"This power is useless,I know I can't die and that's very useful but that's all I can do it's the same as me who hasn't gained any powers, just a normal human "I said as I came out of the minimarket.

When I was walking home I felt like something was strange, the streets that were usually busy were quiet, as if there were no residents.There was only one little kid who looked scared in the middle of the road. I approached him and said, "hey, are you okay?"I asked worriedly. And when he turned around  I saw his face which made me shiver, his mouth and eyes were sewn shut, I fell and screamed when I saw that.And when I was scared the child's body emitted light and grew bigger and then

BOOM

Suddenly the child exploded, making a huge explosion like a nuclear bomb. I could only scream in pain as if I was being fried alive, my body was torn apart. Then my body came back together and separated again until the explosion was over,and then darkness i fainted.

When i wake up my clothes ar gone,
I look around. There was nothing left, Only the charred ruins of the building remain.And I saw many metahumans fighting ,"im scared dad, mom" i said While shaking When I was trying to calm myself down a metahuman came .

The metahuman:"are you alright?"

Subaru:"do i look like im alright?!"I yell

The metahuman:"sorry,but now you need to evacuate immediately,Many terrorists are attacking now. I don't know how you can survive the explosion, but now run to the refugee camp we will cover you."

Subaru:is there anyone in that survive in this area?! I asked worriedly.

The metahuman:".....sorry It seems like you're the only survivor in this area."he said while looking down.

Subaru:"no...."

I ran Towards my house "hey wait!!" Says the metahuman,I ran until I got to my house and saw that my house had been destroyed into pieces and I saw the bodies of my parents which were almost burnt they held hands and looked like they were smiling,I saw this and could only cry in despair.The metahuman who was chasing me saw my situation and could only remain silent watching this incident.

He took me to the evacuation place in other district Since my district is completely Only ashes left and said "I'm sorry" he said while looking down "It's not your fault," I said with a blank look.

The metahuman that protect subaru is called protector is like a police But with superpower.

When I entered the refugee camp I saw many people crying, moaning in pain and even resigned to the situation,When I was trying to sleep,I feel something off,suddenly there was an explosion in the refugee camp. I was hit by the explosion again and groaned in pain. After the explosion ended, I heard laughter.

Villain:"HAHAAHAHHHAHAHA look at them they look like a charcoal HAHAHAHAHA."Said the villain with black robe and white hair.

Subaru:"You...YOU KILLED THEM,YOU KILLED MY FAMILY" i scream with anger.

Villain:"what one survived?HAAHAHAHAHA Look at yourself you're like a barking puppy Hahah"Said the villain while laughing maniacly

Subaru:"I WILL KILL YOUUU!!!"I screamed as I ran towards the villain.

I tried to hit the villain but he dodged all my punches and hit me in the stomach and I was thrown back "argh" I saw the mark of his punch and there was a red mark,Then suddenly my body glowed and exploded into pieces.

Villain:"HAHAHAHA WUHUUU FIREWORK!!! HHAHAHAAHA"The villain said while claping his hand.

Then when the villain walks towards the exit He was hit so hard that he fell down as the villain looked to see who hit him,he saw Subaru standing back up without a single injury.

Villain:"whatt yyou should be dead"the villain said With pain.

Subaru:"I can't die"he said while charging to the villain.

The villain was surprised and hit by Subaru's second punch and when Subaru was about to launch a third punch, the villain caught Subaru's hand and hit him back. Subaru then exploded again.At this time Subaru realized the villain's power, it seemed like his power was that anything he hit would explode.And when Subaru's body healed again the villain said

Villain:"interesting It seems like you really can't die, HAHAHAHA LET'S SEE HOW MANY EXPLOSIONS I CAN MAKE WITH YOUR BODY"

And when the villain was about to hit Subaru, the villain's head came off as if it had been cut off by a sharp object. The villain's body fell and blood gushed from his cut neck like a fountain ,Subaru looked here and there and saw a woman with white hair and skin as white as snow holding a katana.Subaru recognized the woman, she was the number 1 protector in the entire world or could also be called the strongest metahuman.Usually this woman is called "Shiro oni".

Shiro oni:"I can't believe a villain could sneak into the refugee camp" She said while looking at the villain's body.

Then she looked at Subaru .

Shiro oni:"Are you okay? I saw you from a distance when you were fighting this villain alone. You have a very unique power. My name is Alice. I am grateful that you are okay."she said with tired smile,She looked like she felt guilty for not having time to save the people who were taking refuge here.

Then because he was so tired, Subaru fainted on the spot.When Subaru was about to faint he heard Alice's voice shouting "Hey, hey what's wrong?"
