"No, NO, NOOOO!!"
You cry and shriek in fear, tears brimming in your eyes as you nearly trip over brambles and twigs on the slimy forest floor as you continue dashing through the forest with all your might, your elbows and knees scraped from harsh contact with your surroundings.
Bigfoot is still following you closely behind, its large footsteps echoing throughout the entire forest as if a harsh thunderstorm were going on. Nearly every creature that would normally be here during this time of day has went into hiding.
You try not to sob or just curl up into a ball out of fear in acceptance of your fate, your fight-or-flight response and pure adrenaline the only thing keeping you from collapsing and having a mental breakdown.
You can barely hear your own screams over the rapid fleeting of your own heartbeat, your head pounding and throbbing. Nothing but loud stomps alongside your strained and raspy sharp breaths fill the forest's atmosphere, your throat sore and in pain from screaming and gasping so much.
Your legs are bucking constantly, going so far as to give way beneath you multiple times. You're trying to run for your life and avoid getting reduced to a pile of gory mush, and yet your body is not being cooperative at all!
Heavy roars emanate from behind you which serve to do nothing but fuel your panic. Your heart and limbs are working on overdrive as you dash through the forest, presumably running in circles.
Where is Griefer and his damn crowbar?!
Your legs are slowly beginning to give way as your knees grow more and more sore from being worn out, almost to the point it feels like it's been numbed entirely. Your muscles are also begging you to just stop and cave in.
Suddenly, your foot slips on something slimy beneath you, causing you to trip once again and crash into the ground and making you scream. You manage to shield the side of your body with your arms as you fall.
A wince and a feeble, pained cry escapes your lips as you feel a branch dig itself into your skin, puncturing through deeply into your flesh.
Your eyes widen in horror as you watch the grotesque sight of your arm bleeding profusely after being impaled by a branch's sharp edges, blood in the hue of deep crimson red slowly bubbling at the surface of the wound.
You curl up into a ball and cry, tears running down your face as you hug yourself tightly, prepared to face the end...
Loud footsteps akin to crashes begin to rapidly approach you, the shaking around you intensifying greatly as Bigfoot slowly inches closer and closer to you. Impending dread hangs over your head as you try not to think about what happens after death, or whether or not your death will hurt.
Is this how you really die? Getting squashed to death by a colossal ape?
Suddenly, you hear a loud and enraged shriek spoken by a familiar voice that echoes and reverberates throughout the entire forest...
"Don't you DARE touch her, you freak!!"
Suddenly, you hear the loud sound of what seems to be harsh metal thrashing against something, followed by a heavy hit and a pained roar.
The ground beneath you shakes heavily and suddenly, there's one last massive quake that causes all the birds in the area to retreat, followed by the loud shuffling of leaves and the noise of tree logs snapping into two and collapsing like toothpicks.
Finally, silence engulfs the forest once more. Slow and gentle footsteps approach your balled up form.
"Y/N," he calls out to you in a surprisingly gentle voice. "Sorry I'm late to the party. I went to get my jacket and only then noticed you were gone. Also got my backpack before I came back to the forest..."
