• Chapter 2

"Do you want to know how many tanks are there in that barn house?"

My father asked with a contemplating look on his face over the other side of the monitor. I'm currently calling Father after my first day at school has ended.

"When we talked about this in the past, you wanted to go for interior design, but now you want to pursue Senshado? Why is that?" He asked with an inquiring look on his face.

"Because I want to know more about Mama, who had played Senshado with all of her heart." I answered his question, which stunned my father.

"I-Is that so...?" Did my father just get caught off-guard?

He cleared his throat and composed himself again as he asked "Has the school approved of your plan to form a Senshado team?"

Well... I'm not sure about that since I just said to Yurisiel-sensei that I'll be shouldering everything for the Senshado team.

I scratched my head awkwardly as I answered "I mean... I did say that I'll be petitioning them that I would be funding everything if the school's board of directors wouldn't support us."

Even Isshiki was quite surprised by what I just did earlier. Although she gave me an earful after declaring such a thing impulsively, she actually said that she will be supporting me and my dream of mine in the end.

Although she weirdly went back to her room early after that conversation and did not go out until dinner time, I just thought that she might be reporting to Father after what had happened, and he's asking me that question now just to see whether it really came from my own mouth.

"As far as I'm aware, Sado High's sister school Viggen also has a Senshado team. If you want, I could transfer you there imme-" Before he could say anything more, I interrupted him.

"No, Dad. I've already made up my mind to be here. Aside from Viggen, Sado High is the oldest school for interior design in this country, and I don't want to change my decision even if I'll be doing Senshado from now on." I said with a resolute tone.

I added, "Doing two electives like that is easy enough for me." Because I'm a top-performing student when I was in high school before I transmigrated here.

Father then looked at me with an amazed look on his face before revealing a slight smile.

"Just let me know whether you've successfully convinced the board of directors there. I'll be sending the ones that are immediately good to go and I'll have the other ones fixed by the time you've participated in the national tournament." Father said with a proud smile on his face.

"Thank you, Papa!" I said before bowing in front of the camera excitedly. He was taken aback for a moment before smiling once again.

"Since you've made up your mind on doing Senshado, perhaps it's time for me to give you this." He added while smiling as a notification from my Mail app showed up on the bottom-right side of my monitor a few moments later.

Opening the file sent to me from my Father's email, I noticed multiple files inside a sole folder which contained details that even I am surprised with.

There were files within it like 'Haruna-chan's Savings Account Information', 'Senshado Trust Fund Information', 'A Letter To Haruna, From Mother', and 'Future Game Plan' to name a few.

After ending the call with my Father, I started reading through everything that my Dad has sent me.

The documented files for my savings account were set up by my Father as he puts a portion of his salary every month, but since he had worked like that for numerous years now, it is valued at over several billion yen, which is literally huge including all the annual rate for a high-percentage savings account.
