He took slow, deliberate steps toward her and stopped close by. She was lying face down, unconscious on the road, her honey-colored, thick hair scattered across her face.
He knelt down on his heels and gently moved her hair away from her face. As soon as her face came into view, his eyes widened with surprise for a moment.
"How is she here?" he muttered to himself, as he checked her pulse, which was faint but still there.
He straightened Jaza's body, noticing her torn neckline and sleeve. His eyes immediately lowered out of respect. In the next moment, he quickly took off his jacket and covered Jaza's body with it. His eyes were filled with intense anger, though he didn't understand why.
Without wasting any time, he scooped Jaza into his arms and carried her toward his car. After opening the back door, he carefully laid her down on the back seat and then moved to the driver's seat.
He glanced back at her once before starting the car. But rage was boiling inside him. His veins bulged from trying to control his anger as he sped off, rushing the car away from there.

Shehzad limped outside with great difficulty. The bleeding from his head had finally stopped, and his injured foot was causing him to limp. Struggling, he made his way to the front gate.
"Did a girl leave from here?" Shehzad asked the elderly guard angrily.
"Sir, I didn't see anyone leave from here. How could I let anyone go without your permission?" the elderly guard stammered, trembling under Shehzad's furious gaze.
"Don't try to fool me! Or I'll kill you right here. Now tell me, which way did the girl go?" Shehzad pulled out a gun from his pocket and pointed it at the guard.
"Sir, I swear, I don't know anything... I don't know who came or who went. No one passed by here while I was on duty," the elderly guard began to sob, falling at Shehzad's feet.
"Stop this crying and answer me!" Shehzad kicked the guard hard, frustration seeping into his tone.
"Sir, I don't know. I didn't see anyone come or go. I swear on my life!" The old guard wept in fear, but Shehzad kicked him again and stormed inside, heading toward the security room.
"Show me the footage of the main gate from a little while ago," he demanded as he entered the room.
"Sir, the cameras at the main gate were removed a few days ago," the man sitting in front of the computer screen replied nervously.
"Curse all of you!" Shehzad roared, grabbing the man by the collar before shoving him back.
He stormed out of the security room, hurried to his car, and sped off from there.
"I'm sure you haven't gone far... Just once, Jaza Shahid. Let me catch you, and I will turn you into a living corpse," Shehzad muttered through gritted teeth, banging his hands on the steering wheel in frustration. He wished she were right in front of him so he could burn her alive.

On the other side, as soon as Ahsan Sahib, Kamran Sahib, Roha Begum, Amal Begum, and Abiha Begum found out, they rushed to Shahid Sahib's house. Amna and Noor were inconsolable from crying, unable to be comforted by anyone.
"Mama, where is Jaza? Please bring her back. Mama, wake Sawera up!" Noor cried out while sobbing uncontrollably.
"My dear, calm down," Hoor said, hugging Noor tightly, trying to soothe her. But how could Amal Begum calm Noor down when she herself was in a state of shock?
