She was dancing. It was raining outside and when everybody was just running from the rain she was there. Dancing under the rain.
I could hear her laugh. The most beautiful one on earth.
I couldn't stop staring at her.
If I didn't felt the rain on my skin I would have thought that the time had stopped.
As she looked at me I knew that I wanted her to be mine. I wanted her every laugh, her every dance. I wanted to danse with her and to be the reason she laughed.
So I ran to her. In the raging rain.
She took my hand and we danced.
We were both soak but she was still beautiful as ever. She seemed in her element. As if she had done this all her life.
We both laughed over this moment of innocence.
As we were both out of breath we stopped still looking at each others.
« you know I always wanted to try something » she said to me.
I asked her what, curious about what she had to say.
« kissing someone under the rain » she continued. And I hoped she was talking about me .
She looked up raising her hand, palm towards the sky, collecting the water drops. She then looked at me with a big smile. « Can I » she finally questioned me.
I didn't need to answer, if she could've heard my heart beating she would've known instantly that it was a yes. So I took a step closer to her, I grabbed her tiny face in my hands, leaning my lips to hers.
And I kissed her as if it was the last one of my life. As if there were no tomorrow. And she kissed me back with the same energy.
I couldn't stop me. Nobody had told me that the rain could be the best thing happening to me.

The night I met her, my life changed. It hadn't begun, it had just finally made sense. I wanted that to be my forever and ever.

And I can say it is.

I kiss her under the rain.
I make her danse with me.
I make her laugh.
I love her.
She loves me.
And the rest is history.
