He moved cautiously, his senses alert for any sign of danger. The faint clinking of armor reached his ears, signaling the presence of soldiers nearby. As he rounded a corner, he stopped abruptly. A woman stood ahead, poised and elegant, her back to him

She turned at the sound of his approach, her piercing gaze meeting his. Despite her readiness for confrontation, there was no malice in her expression-only a quiet strength.

"You're not one of them," she said softly, her voice refined yet firm. She lowered her blade slightly, but not entirely. "Who are you?"

She tilted her head slightly, studying him with an air of calm curiosity. "I'm Four. These ruins once belonged to tyrant lords who oppressed this land. Though they've fallen, their leftover soldiers cling to what little power they can find."

Y/n frowned, glancing at the distant clamor of approaching troops. "Then we should stop them," he said. "Together."

"Let's do this," Four said softly, her voice steady despite the chaos unfolding around them.

Y/n nodded in agreement, his Keyblade pulsing with energy as he raised it toward the advancing soldiers

The first soldier lunged at them, blade raised high, and Y/n swung his Keyblade, deflecting the strike with ease. With a fluid motion, he aimed a powerful thrust toward the soldier's chest, knocking him off balance. Before the soldier could recover, Y/n swung the Keyblade again, sending him sprawling to the ground, unconscious but alive.

Behind him, Four continued her merciless assault. Her claws raked through armor, carving through her enemies as if they were nothing more than paper. One soldier fell to his knees, begging for mercy, but Four silenced him with a single slash, her expression emotionless.

"Four!" Y/N shouted, horrified. "You didn't have to-

"They're enemies," she snapped, turning to face him. Her voice was cold, but her eyes burned with an intensity that sent a chill down his spine. "They knew what they were signing up for."

As Y/N and Four moved through the aftermath of the battle, the heavy silence between them was shattered by the sound of rapid footsteps and a familiar, overly enthusiastic voice.

"Lady Four!" a man called out, his tone a mixture of panic and devotion. "Don't run off like that, my lady!"

Four let out an audible groan, rolling her eyes as a tall figure skidded to a halt before them. Decadus, her ever-loyal-and uncomfortably enthusiastic-disciple, dropped to one knee in front of her, his head bowed dramatically. Despite the dirt and blood smeared across the battlefield, he looked entirely out of place, his expression one of almost worshipful concern.

"My lady, you mustn't leave me behind like that!" Decadus exclaimed, his voice brimming with exaggerated emotion. "I exist to serve you, to endure all hardships for your sake! Whatever pain or punishment you deem fit for abandoning you, I shall gladly-"

"Enough, Decadus," Four snapped, cutting him off mid-sentence. Her voice was sharp, but there was a hint of exasperated familiarity in it.

Decadus looked up, his eyes glimmering with a strange mix of devotion and self-imposed guilt. "Forgive me, Lady Four. I merely worry for your safety. To think you fought such a battle without me by your side-it's unbearable to imagine!"

Four crossed her arms, her claw weapon still gleaming ominously in the faint light. "I didn't need you for that. I handled it just fine."

Decadus's expression shifted, as if her words inflicted some strange, self-inflicted emotional wound. "Ah, yes... of course, my lady. Your power is unmatched. But to think I was denied the privilege of enduring pain and at your side-it's a failure I can scarcely forgive myself for!"

Y/N, who had been standing silently, stared at the bizarre display, struggling to process what he was witnessing. He leaned closer to Four, his voice low and "Who is this guy?"

Four sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Decadus. My disciple."

"Disciple?" Y/N repeated, blinking. "He's... uh... something."

Decadus sprang to his feet instantly, his posture perfectly straight. "Of course, my lady! I shall follow you to the ends of the earth, enduring any torment for your sake! Please, command me as you see fit!"

"Y/n I would appreciate it if you came with us you were a major help I promise I'll make it worth your time.."

"Uh... yeah, sure," Y/n said hesitantly, his voice laced with uncertainty. He wasn't sure what he was agreeing to, but the thought of walking away felt wrong somehow. "I'll come with you."

"Thank you! Let's get going!"
Fours says and does a cheerful spin

"Thank you! Let's get going!" Four said with an burst of energy, spinning on her heel with surprising cheerfulness.

Y/n couldn't shake the faint unease that settled in his chest as he followed Four through Cathedral city..

*Timeskip*

The group sprinted through the crumbling streets of Cathedral City, their footsteps echoing against the weathered stone walls. Y/n lagged slightly behind, his breath coming in sharp gasps as he stumbled over a loose stone.

"Nah! Ow! Leg cramp-ow, ow, ow," he groaned, clutching his thigh mid-run. "I'm getting tired. How much farther do we have to go?"

Four glanced back at him, her expression calm but sympathetic. "Sorry, Y/n, but there are still troops we need to clear out. I promise, we'll rest soon."

Decadus, running slightly ahead speaks up

"complaints are unbecoming! Lady Four's endurance is unmatched, and we must strive to keep pace with her divine strength!" He gave an exaggerated bow while still in motion, somehow managing not to trip.

"Yeah, well, I'm not divine, and my legs definitely know it!" Y/n snapped, shaking his head in disbelief at Decadus's antics.
