The Moon gazed at the Sun, a cosmic pair divine and one.
'Why do we only meet at once?' he'd ask,
as the Sun would blush, it was a radiant task.
Perhaps the universe, jealous and cold.
Hides us away, secrets untold.
But our love, a beacon bright
shines through the darkness, a guiding light.
The Sun replied, a knowing gleam.
'Maybe it's just a cosmic dream,
A fleeting moment, a chance to see
our love ethernal, wild and free.
That's it folks! This is what I made while overthinking and trying to sleep at night.
My friends loved it and we thought if we could make a melody and then produce a song by altering the lyrics of the poem a bit.
