Eclipse

The Moon gazed at the Sun, a cosmic pair divine and one.

'Why do we only meet at once?' he'd ask,

as the Sun would blush, it was a radiant task.

Perhaps the universe, jealous and cold.

Hides us away, secrets untold.

But our love, a beacon bright

shines through the darkness, a guiding light.

The Sun replied, a knowing gleam.

'Maybe it's just a cosmic dream,

A fleeting moment, a chance to see

our love ethernal, wild and free.

That's it folks! This is what I made while overthinking and trying to sleep at night.

My friends loved it and we thought if we could make a melody and then produce a song by altering the lyrics of the poem a bit.

Thank you
