At 6:45 Dayler went downstairs. He saw Tony standing in the living room waiting for him. "He should be here soon," Dayler said, walking to the elevator as he put on his camo ball cap.

He and Tony hopped in the elevator and started going down. Dayler checked his phone and saw Parker text him saying he was pulling in.

They reached the main floor and walked out to the front. Dayler hopped in the front seat of the truck, and Tony leaned down to talk to Parker.

"Hi, I'm Tony, what's your name?" Tony asked. "I'm Parker," the curly-haired friend answered. "So what are you guys going to do?" Tony asked. "My dad asked us to help him paint this garage," Parker lied. "How late do you think it'll be?" Tony asked. "Uh, I don't know, maybe eleven? No later than midnight," Parker told him. Tony nodded and sighed.

"Well, be safe, I'll see you when you get home, Days," Tony said and patted the boy's arm before stepping away from the truck. The teens drove off and Tony called Happy.

"Dude, that worked better than I thought it would!" Parker laughed after they drove off. "Yeah, bro! I totally thought he would ask to talk to your dad," Dayler said as he looked back at the tower, seeing Tony still standing there. "Let's go to Wal-Mart," Dayler said. "You're gonna try and steal again so soon?" Parker asked. "Nah bro! Steve gave me twenty bucks!" Dayler laughed and showed his friend.

"Sick!" Parker laughed.

They soon pulled into Wal-Mart and the two friends went inside. Dayler walked to the applesauce and small squeezable yogurts and grabbed two packs of each before they each grabbed a bottle of soda each and going to the check out.

They bought what they needed and went back out to their truck. Dayler noticed a black car that looked familiar and looked at it for a few minutes before shaking his head and getting in the truck.

The friends then took off towards Cecilia's house.

It took them twenty minutes before they parked in front of her house. The two friends got out and walked to the door. They knocked and soon Cecilia's dad opened the door, obviously drunk.

"You better make that brat shut up!" Darren growled at them before walking into the house, allowing the two boys to walk in.

Parker closed the door as Dayler ran up the stairs. He walked into Cecilia's room with a smile.

"Hey, y'all!" Dayler smiled.

"Daddy!"

"Hey, Joel!" Dayler smiled a lifted his two-year-old son. "I brought apple sauce and squeezable yogurt," Dayler said and handed the bag to his exhausted girlfriend. The girl opened the bag and got a yogurt out for Joel as Dayler played with his son.

"Hey, you got paint?" Dayler asked. Cecilia looked at him confused. "Tony thinks I'm painting a garage," Dayler explained to her. "Uh, yeah, in the garage," she said as she took Joel back and opened the yogurt for him.

Dayler left her room and walked downstairs. He saw Parker talking to Darren so the man would leave his friends alone. "Park, I need you're help," Dayler said as he walked toward the front door.

Cecilia's garage wasn't connected to the house so they had to walk outside to get to it. They opened the garage door and started looking for paint.

Happy was sitting in the car across the road watching them. He watched as they found paint and thought they were actually going to paint, but when he saw them splatter paint on their clothes, arms, and hands, he knew the boy was hiding something.

He called Tony and told him what his new son was doing.

Tony sighed after he hung up with Happy. He decided to get the phone records from Dayler's phone to see what he was hiding.
