My eyes sting from as the red clouds of dirt and gravel swirl around me.
The wind was picking up and blowing it into the corners of my eyes. I could still see but part of me just wanted to lye on the ground, close my eyes shut as hard as I could and scream like a five year old school girl but all I kept walking down the fence.
The pain in my eyes began to become a nudging itch that I couldn't scratch but it wasn't as bad 20 minutes ago since the wind dyed down but they were watering up and a cold yet warm tear fell down my gross, sweaty, cheeks and off my chin. Now I wished I never thought of that because I had gotten shivers down my spine and every inch of hair on my neck stood up, geez was that gross, echoing in my brain as I thought to myself.
Finally after 20 minutes of walking I had reached the giant gate where the trucks could be let out.I need to look up to see the whole thing and look both ways to see the edges,it didn't look like there was a latch or something on the gate to open it up but there was a staircase on my right side that looped around a sliver poll and up to a old but stable looking plat-form.The stairs, just like everything else looked old and rusty. For several seconds I just stared at it and listening to the creeks in the wind as it slowly wobble back and forth.Watching the staircase,I followed the railing that went all the way up and down the plat-form and beside it there was a.....well I wasn't sure but it was attached to the fence and it looked like I could possible do something smart with it for a change,to be honest,I just wanted to see what it was.I walked over and start swirling up the stairs, one step at a time, listening to the moans of the metal bending back and forth and the rust falling off as my feet hit one step after another.Almost at the top,a loud snap followed by a bang and a creek,my leg and foot had fallen threw the stairs as I panic and watch the rusty Stair swirl towards the ground,I may have only been 10 feet off the ground but up here it seemed like a valley and I was on a mountain top and was on the edge of falling off.I try pulling my self up,a painful tear wrenching scream was let out as my left leg had gotten stuck on a piece of metal that was stuck to the lower railing that my legs were dangling threw,I guess not all the stair had fallen down, while hanging up there and shorts breathes of panic are breathed in and out and I'm holding back all the tears,I begin to pull my right leg up on the next stair, and then begin to pull my self up,every inch my leg gets bloodier and the cut gets deeper and longer as I get myself onto the plat-form,finally I get up with loss of breathe and my hands shaken has a steady stream of red flows from my leg, down my pants, off my shoe and falls to the ground.i start trying to tear off my pant leg but it's not as easy as they make it look in the movies and with this heat and dehydration just making it a lot more difficult. Finally I get it tarred off and I wrap it tight enough that it stung a little, put a knot in it and tucked the rest into my homemade bandage wrap.I pull myself up and and hobble the rest of the way up the stairs and it turns out there was nothing up there, what I saw was nothing, just a chink of metal wedged into another piece of metal.it was now hotter then every and I was stuck up there.
Great.Now what.
