Chapter 2- Rising Star

I'm walk into the audition building and sit in a chair waiting for my name to get called. I'm auditioning for the movie Caraval, it's a book that is being made into a movie. I'll be auditioning for the Lead female Scarlett Dragna and the love interest of Julian. I sit next to a blonde girl who doesn't look as nervous as the other boys and girls. I quickly scan the room after sitting down before starting a conversation with the blonde girl next to me, I think I recognize her "your McKenna Grace right?" I ask her and she turns to me "oh yes! Omg your y/n l/n this is so crazy I've always wanted to meet you!!" She says to me and I smile "it's nice meeting you! I've seen some of your movies, your a really good actress" I tell the girl "oh wow thank you! I've seen everything you've been in your like amazing" I smile at her words "so what part are you auditioning for?" I ask her "Donatella Dragna, the sister of Scarlett" "oh no way! I'm auditor Scarlett" I say to her excitedly. We have a little bit of a conversation and exchange numbers. I think I've just found a new bestie! My name gets called into the audition room but when I'm walking in I bump into a boy about 6'0 my head hits his chest bumping into him. "I'm so sorry!" I say quickly backing up to see a blonde curly haired boy with ocean blue eyes. He looks down into my eyes and I feel my face get a little hot. Why? I don't even know this kid "oh your good don't worry about it!" He says and smiles. "I- uh I gotta go, can't miss my audition!" I say and quickly get out of the situation. He was cute but I'll probably never see him again, I head into the audition room and say some of my lines. The judges looked sort of impressed so I was happy at that and left after finishing my audition. I'm waiting outside for my sister to pick me up when the same 6'0 curly head blonde that I bumped into before stands only a couple feet away from me. He looks like he's also waiting for someone to pick him up. I hesitantly go up to him "hi!" I say to him "hey!" He says back "uhm- listen sorry for bumping into you earlier. I'm y/n l/n" I say to him and his eyes widen "I knew I recognized you!" He says and I giggle slightly "waiting for someone to pick you up?" I ask him "nope I have my own car I'm just kinda chilling out for a bit before I head home" "nice!" I reply before getting a text from my sister.

I look up at my phone to see him reading over my shoulder. "I could give you a ride home if you want" he shrugs "I- um that would be great thanks!" I smile in relief "but before I get into a car with you what's your name?" I question "Walker, Walker Scobell" he says proudly "ohh you acted in Percy Jackson right?" I question "mhm! And you acted in pirates of the Caribbean right?" He questions excitedly "yep! That's me" "your like superrr famous" he tells me and I giggle at his words. We hop in the car and he starts driving. He does the thigg N where he puts his hand on the back of my seat and looks behind while pulling out of the parking spot. (Ifykyk) I feel my cheeks flush a little at this but I'm not sure why. I mean I don't even really know this kid.. "hey why don't you put your number in my phone" he says smiling, handing me his phone with a new contact open "ok!" I smile and gladly put my number in. "Perfect!" "I'll make sure to text you" he says as he comes to a stop at my house "thanks for the ride Walker!" "Yeah of course! Any time, I live Walking distance from here. Like 5 minutes" he tells me "oh wow! We should definitely hang out some time" I say smiling "for sure!" He says and with that I close the car door waking into my house. I run up to my room and my phone lights up with a notification. Is it Walker! I question excitedly but my smile quickly fades a bit when I see that it's just McKenna.

I get up to go to my vanity to brush my hair. I decide to take a shower so I put on some music with my phone and hop in the shower. About 10 minutes into my shower I hear my phone Rex ding but I ignore it thinking it's McKenna. After about 30 minutes I get out of the shower and sit on the bed in my towel too see that the notification was from Walker. My face lit up a bit at this and I'm not sure why.
