Chapter 1

Chapter 1: the cousins arrival

Scene: Vivaan's House

The morning sun shines brightly through the window of Vivaan's room. Karuna, his mother, is in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Khushi, his sister, is sitting on the couch, scrolling through her phone.

Karuna (calling from the kitchen):
Vivaan, uth ja! Tere cousins aane wale hain!

Vivaan groggily opens his eyes and sees the time on his clock.

Vivaan (grumbling as he stretches):
Arghhh, itna jaldi?

He pulls the blanket over his head to avoid getting up. Khushi, excited as always, jumps up from the couch.

Khushi (with enthusiasm):
Haan, Mannu Bhaiya aur Bannu Bhaiya ke saath pichhli baar kitna maza aaya tha! Yaad hai woh ball pit mein kaisa khul gaya tha sab kuch?

Vivaan (still half-asleep, mumbling):
Maza? Maza toh mere saath kuch aur hi hua tha...

Flashback

The scene shifts to a day full of mischief and chaos. Vivaan's cousins, Mannu and Bannu, are at his house, and the fun begins immediately.

Mannu (grinning mischievously):
Vivaan, ek kaam kar, yeh box sambhal le. Iske andar kuch "special" hai!

Vivaan (eyeing the box suspiciously):
Kya hai? Tum dono phir kuch karne waale ho, na?

Bannu (pretending to be serious):
Arre nahi, bilkul nahi. Yeh box tumhare liye ek gift hai.

Vivaan hesitates but opens the box slowly. Suddenly, a rubber chicken pops out, squawking loudly, and starts flapping its wings.

Vivaan (jumping back in shock):
Ahh! Chicken? Yeh kya tha?

Mannu and Bannu start laughing hysterically while Vivaan stands frozen in shock, his heart racing.

Karuna (entering the room with a stern look):
Yeh kya ho raha hai? Vivaan ko dar laga diya! Tum dono na...

Khushi, standing in the doorway, sees the chaos and decides to join in. She takes a handful of flour and sneaks up behind Mannu, throwing it at his face.

Khushi (laughing):
Surprise! Tum dono ka toh maza le liya!

Mannu and Bannu, now covered in flour, look at each other and burst into even louder laughter.

Karuna (trying to keep calm but smiling):
Ab bas karo! Agar yeh sab cheezein ghar mein sab jagah fail gayi, toh main tum dono ko bhi failega!

Dadasaheb (sitting in his chair, watching the chaos):
Karuna, yeh bachpan hai, inhein jeene do. Yeh toh kal raat ki yaad dilayi hai... Vivaan, tumhare saath yeh sab pehle bhi hua tha kya?

Vivaan (with a sigh):
Dadaji, Mannu aur Bannu ke saath toh har din ek nayi kahani hoti hai.

Mannu (smiling innocently):
Vivaan, kuch nahi. Aaj toh sirf ek chhota sa surprise diya tha!

Bannu (winking):
Aur aage aane wale surprises ke liye tayaar rehna, Vivaan!

The scene cuts back to the present moment in Vivaan's room, with Vivaan finally getting up from bed, rubbing his eyes.

Vivaan (stretching and looking at Khushi):
Khushi didi, aapke saath toh woh Mannu aur Bannu waise kafi acchi se rehte hain... mere saath toh har waqt alag hi khichdi pakdi rehti hai.

Khushi (laughing):
Arre, tumhare saath toh yeh surprise waale din hamesha yaadgar hote hain, Vivaan!

Vivaan (shaking his head, still half-smiling):
Yaadgar... ya kahin na kahin mazaq!
