After awhile Steve put me down. I was at least 3 cars infront of the gang. I heard a little girl screaming and running to me. I picked her up and I seen what was running after her 4 socs and one of them was bob. "Leave her alone" I say backing up. They all tried coming at me. I pulled out my gun and put it to bobs head. "Don't do it Aaliyah" I heard Tim say. "He's not worth it!" I heard it sounded like Dallas. I see them running to me. Than the socs got closer. "Back up!! I won't hesitate to shoot" I say. And they do back up.

I look at the girl crying in my arms. I put her down and she was standing behind me. We start backing up. The gang was kinda close. My breath starts shaking. Then bob ran up to me and got the gun. We both were fighting over it. Than........BOOM. The gun shot. I looked at who it shot. I felt pain in my stomach. I look down. Bob just shot me. The girl was running to the gang. I was crawling. "Tim, curly" I say before turning on my back. Slowly loosing my vision. "NOO" I heard someone say. Than I feel someone pull me away. It looked like of bobs friends but bob wasn't there.

I woke up tied to a chair. "HELP!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME"  i screamed. Ran 3 guys come in. None of them were bob. "Oh look who's awake" I believe his name was David. "Please. Please let me go" I beg. "No can do princess" another person says. "W-where's bob" I ask, "we took care of him" David says. Where bob? What did they do to him? I know I hate him but I still have a heart. David than comes over and starts taking off my clothes. "No!no!no get off of me!" I scream. "Shut her up!" David demanded than they put tape on my mouth. Than David......... raped me.

I passed out. Next thing I know I'm in the basement. I look down and I was in my underwear and bra with this big white t-shirt on. I hear someone bang on the front door than enter the house. "Help me! Help I'm down hear" I scream than everything went silent. "HELP ME. HELP IM DOWN HESR PLEASE! SOMEONE ANYBODY." I say than I see Steve so I run to him. I was limping. "GUYS DOWN HEAR I FOUND HER" Steve screams. Than the whole gang it down here. "Curly" I say than pass out.

I see my sister hold a gun to bob and his friends. She was holding a girl behind her. I could see that she was scared. She's only 17. Than I hear a shot gun. I look up and see my sister crawling to me. Than David took her and ran. "NOO!" I hear Tim say. It took us hours looking for her. I told Randy. He was mad. He told thier parents. I told my dad and my mom, they went looking for her too.

After hours finding her she was in David's basement. With only underwear a bra and a big tv. She wasn't wearing that before. Either there was too much blood or she was...... no there was no way. Did they rape her!? I grabbed David and started beating the fuck out of him. Steve yelled saying he foul her. We all ran down. Her parents. And my parents. Than the gang. I was the last one down there. "Curly" she said than passed out. "NO! NO! NO!" I scream that ounch the wall. The Curtis parents picked her up and brought her to the hospital. Her parents were just too shocked and couldn't move. She's been in a coma for a week. Docs says she prob won't make me.

I woke up. I started remembering what happened. I seen evb in the room. The gang. Tim and curly. My mom and step dad. My dad and step mom. Bob and Randy. The little girl and her parents. The Curtis family. Curly seen I was awake and hugged me real tight. I started crying. "Shh baby it's okay" curly says while kissing my head. I see the girls parents. "Thank you so much for saving our daughter" they say. I try and talk but I can't. Everyone sees me struggling. I sit up and try to talk but I can't. I start to panic because I wasn't breathing. The doctor came in. "Please breathe Aaliyah every thing is okay" she says. I grabbed her hand for my shoulders and start trying to breathe.

"Calm down Aaliyah" the doctor says. "What's happening to her doc" Ted says. "Well, sence she was raped...the guy that raped her made her loose her voice. She might panic at first because she's getting her self worked out. It's okay Aaliyah" the docs says. "Take deep breaths" she says showing me. Than I did it. I was so disappointed in my self. I just saved a little girl than got raped after. I turned around and was now laying on my stomach. My head was in my pillow. I was sobbing. I feel someone's hand on my back. I turn around and see Darrel's hand on my back rubbing it. "It's gonna be okay Aaliyah. There not gonna touch you again." Darrel says. I felt pain in my stomach. There were stitches. "You were shot" bob says. I remember it all now. Johnny and pony than come in the bed with me and lay down. It definitely calmed me down.

I was holding there hand and fell asleep. I heard ponyboys parents saying they're gonna leave and hope I get better. My parents talked to there parents. I started having bad dreams. I woke up from some shaking me. It was Johnny. I looked at him shocked and scared. "You okay" he asks. I shook my head no. I look around and no one was there. I then look back at Johnny. He was melting. "Aaliyah wake up" I heard. Than I woke up. I was relieved it was a dream. I looked at Johnny peacefully sleep. "You okay " my mom says. I shook my head. She knew I was lying. Than after awhile both parents and step parents left. Now it was just me the gang my three brothers and bob.

Johnny and ponyboy were now sitting near soda and Steve. I was zoned out. Playing with my fingers. I was scared. The doc came in. "So Aaliyah you can go home tomorrow. Than come back on November 27th to get your stitches out" she said and I just nodded sence I couldn't talk. "I proud of you sis. You saved a 10 year old girl" Randy says. I didn't do anything. Not even look at him. Just signed. They all could see I was hurting. I was. Mentally and physically and emotionally. I was doing something good for once and than I nearly died!

It was a day later. The doctor said I could go home. Steve and Dallas helped me get changed. Than they brought me home. My parents asks if they all wanted to stay for dinner. They said yea so my mom callled the Curtis parents and asks if they wanted to come over for dinner, they said yes. About an hour or too they came over. Soda and two helped me showers. It wasnt uncomfortable. They were like brothers to me. Even though I just met them.
I just didn't like them like that. Than I put a white tank top and some sweatpants with white socks and ugg slippers on. Than they walked me to the living room.

Than curly was brushing my hair. It felt nice knowing people actually do care about me. They were all helping me. Then everyone went outside.the Curtis parents helped me outside. My mom and there mom were making dinner on the grill.  My step dad and there dad were just talking on the porch. My brothers,bob, and the gang were playing football in the road. I was just laying on the grass. The sky is so beautiful. I always loved the sky. The sunset was starting. Ponyboy and Johnny seen so they both layed with me. All of us were holding hands. Everyone looked at us. Johnny was laying on my left and pony was laying on my right. "It's beautiful isn't it" I say. "AALIYAH YOU GOT YOUR VOICE BACK" ponyboy screams.

We jumped up and I was hugging pony and Johnny. We all were laughing. They looked at us like we were crazy. I didn't care, Johnny and pony are mini me's. Dinner was done. So we ate outside, we asks if we all can have a sleep over in my back yard. Our parents said yes. We set up a tent. Well they did. I was gonna sleep in my room tonight so they can have fun. "You sleeping with us Aaliyah?" Dallas asks. "Nope, I want you guys to have fun. You boys to be boys doing what boys do. But if u need me I'll be in my room." I say than smile softly. I went inside and sat on the couch with my parents and the Curtis parents. They were laughing and just being adults.

"How you feeling liyah" Mr. Curtis asks. "I'm better, seeing the boys laughing and getting along make me feel much better" I say. "You have a very sweet daughter yk that" Mrs. Curtis says to my mom. "Yeah. I'm grateful" my mom says. "Well I'm gonna go lay down. I'll see you guys later." I say trying to walk to my room. Than Mr Curtis and my step dad help me. I start laughing. Mr Curtis leave the room I say thank u. "Ted. Is it okay if I call you dad?" I ask. He had a surprised look on his face. "U-u-uh yea ofc sweetie" he says hugging me. "I love you dad. You've always been there for me and I'm happy you're in my life." I say. I felt tears on my shoulder. "Goodnight love bug" he says kissing my forehead than leaving.

I heard him tell my mom about it. He was crying. But happily. My mom was happy. I knew she would be, they both deserve happiness. I start thinking what would have happened if I did die. What should have happened if I didn't save that little girl. Before I knew it I went to bed.
