Harry sighs as he sinks down into the tub. He had been stressed for the last twenty four hours.
With Harry focusing on Pleasing by Styles and being a full time parent, it caused him to take a lot of baths. His body being sore most nights.
Today alone was hectic. Justice was running a fever so he needed to keep the other kids away from him so they wouldn't get sick, Poetic was having a hard time with her math homework which resulted in a lot of frustrating screaming from her, Verona was on a no sharing streak for a while which ultimately caused Rome to cry because he wanted to play with his sister.
On top of all that Harry had multiple meetings today to discuss the new clothing line for Pleasing by Styles. It was a chaotic. After putting the kids to bed he just wanted to unwind and relax.
"Baby?"
"Bathroom."
Harry opened his eyes as his husband walks in. " Tough day?"
Harry scoffs. "Understatement."
"Mind if i join?"
Harry shakes his head. Zayn smiles before undressing. He then lies right in front of his husband. Harry leans back into him while Zayn begins massaging his scalp.
"Feels nice."
Zayn smiles. Harry closes his eyes before turning his head around slightly. He kisses Zayn gently.
"I was thinking we take a bit of a vacation?"
"Vacation?"
"Mhm. School is almost over! We could gather the kids, go out, enjoy each other. You and I can unwind at night. My moms and sisters offering to babysit. We can have a nice romantic dinner. How does that sound, baby?"
"Sounds amazing. Just—what about work?"
"No work! That's the only rule. You need to relax, honey. You deserve to take some time off. You've been working none stop since you went back full time."
Harry sighs. "You're right."
"I know."
Harry laughs. Zayn turns his head back around and kisses him passionately. "Love you."
"Love you, too."
The couple finished washing up before getting out of the tub.
It was around four in the morning when Zayn wakes up to someone poking him. He looks down and sees Justice. He was holding his favorite stuffed bear and sniffling. Zayn frowns before picking his son up.
"What's wrong, Jo-Jo?"
"Bad dream, baba. You and mama were gone. Tried finding you but couldn't. It got dark and I was by myself. I don't like it, daddy."
Zayn sets him in between him and Harry before kissing the top of his head. "Oh, angel. It was just a bad dream, yeah? You know mama and daddy would never leave you and your siblings. We love you too much."
Justice hums as he cuddles up to Zayn. "Still."
"How bout I sing you to sleep, yeah? You can stay snuggled up to mom and I."
Justice hums.
Zayn begins singing a soft melody. Justice stares at his father in awe. He always enjoyed listening to Zayn sing. It was soothing and helped him fall asleep. When he finally fell back to sleep, Zayn kisses the top of his head once more before falling back to sleep himself.

i am working on so much currently so i apologize for the lack of updates
i haven't been doing so well mentally. over the last year i lost my apartment (around the beginning of 2024) so ive been living with my great aunt back in my hometown
it's not much here and im never able to leave the house. i had jobs but unfortunately they didn't pan out for multiple reasons. one because of mental health the other because of physical health
im also in school again (online) so ive been super busy with that too.
in fact it'll probably be my ticket in getting out of my hometown (due to financial aid) which will work perfectly for me!
i want to be able to have a life of my own again and feel safe and secure once more.
anyway, more updates coming because for some reason i can't sleep :(
