The next couple of days you had a similar routine going on-waking up late in the morning, snooping around, inevitably ending up in the training room area, observing the agents, furiously taking notes until late in the morning-then knocking out. The cycle repeated itself for the week-and get you still didn't have and exact idea of what you wanted to write.

It was driving you insane on how much material you now had if you wanted to write something specific-and yet you were still so at loss. You finally broke your routine, and this time it came in a slightly unexpected way. You were chilling in the common room, tapping your pen to your lip as you look down at your notebook, rereading the multiple pages of notes you had taken throughout the week, hoping that an idea would come at some point.

When you were about to get up and go walk around headquarters once again- your attention got caught by someone clearing their throat nearby, raising your eyes to see familiar lilac ones staring down at you. Iso had a smug look on his face, a wide smirk on display as he looked down at you.

"Oh- hey Iso." You greeted him casually, giving him a small wave as you finally stood up, stretching a bit. "It's almost surprising to see you here and not in the training room-" you teased him slightly, you had ended up realizing just how much he overworked himself in the training room at any given opportunity.

Iso hummed, nodding his head slightly at your remark. He briefly glanced around the empty common room, pretty much everyone else was busy doing something else today. "Right... Let's say I got caught up with a pretty good book." He hummed out, that smug look on his face but still there as he spoke. You thought nothing of it, just giving him a small nod. "Oh cool, what was it?" You asked him a bit absently, you were currently busy just making sure you had everything on you, clipping your pen after the sports bra you were wearing, tapping your head a bit to make sure your glasses were still there- and once more tucking your notebook between your arm and hip.

"Oh just one of your police novels." He said nonchalantly. It didn't click in your head quite yet, you just let out a small nod and hum- unfazed by what he said. He noticed pretty fast that you didn't seem to register what he said, so he tried again, this time making sure your attention would be caught. "That's definitely one interesting way to make use of gun security-" he added, his tone just slightly arrogant as he chuckled a bit.

You paused mid step, choking on air as he realized what he said finally. You almost mechanically turn around to look at him, your face a little red. ".. say what now-" you muttered out, as if you didn't understand him in the first time. He snickered, knowing damn well you heard him, but deciding to pull your leg a bit. "I said, that was definitely an interesting way to make use of gun security. Are you into that type of thing or-?"

You choked again, your face turning a bit more red as he spoke up. You're finally shook your head almost violently. "NO- no .. It was literally for the sake of the story-" you said a bit embarrassed- usually you were pretty unashamed of what you wrote, I mean your whole career was based off of it- but for some reason getting teased for it right now just caught you so off guard that you were almost stuttering as you spoke.

"Well, seems that your... 'for the sake of the story', as you nicely put it, is your trademark. It's an interesting one to say the least-" He added with a chuckle, amused with how embarrassed you look at this moment. You once again had a bit of a delay before answering- trying to find the right thing to say without making things look even more embarrassing on your part.
